The curtains slowly started to open. Time to start the show, Foxy thought.
"Ahoy me hearties! My name be captain Foxy the pirate fox! How ye be doin on this snowy, cold day?"
"GOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!" All the kids screamed.
"Ahahahaha! That be wonderful, lads and lassies! I be hearin that it be some lad's birthday today, be it not?"
Someone stepped forward. "Aye, captain! It be this lad's birthday!" Someone said with an excellent pirate lingo. Foxy looked to see the girl from before leading a young kid up to the stage.
Foxy smiled at them both and continued his part. "Aye, young lad, how old ye be turnin?"
"I will be seven cap'n!" He said, happily, an ear to ear grin on his face.
"Alright everyone, let us sing a happy birthday to this here lad. What be your name?"
"I am Bill!" He said loudly.
"Alright me crew! Let's sing!"
Everyone began singing. "Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Bill! Happy birthday to you!!!"
"Alright lads and lassies! It be time for yer cake! Go and find Chica, and she will have it ready for ye!" The kids scampered off to do the long quest of finding Chica and Foxy's curtains closed. He sat on a small wooden stool in the corner and sighed.
"Foxy?" Called a voice.
He sat up suddenly, knocking the stool over in the process. "Who goes thar?" He asked, keeping his pirate lingo intact.
"It's me. I brought my brother, the birthday boy here. I just wanted to talk to you." Foxy stepped out of the shadows to see her standing there, peeking through the curtains.
"What do you need?" He asked, dropping his accent.
"I-I need a job, and I love working with kids, so I was wondering if I could get a job here?"
Foxy paused, thinking. "You will have to talk with our boss, Golden Freddy. I can take you to him if you want me to."
"Thank you, Foxy!" She said. "My name is Mangle by the way." They began walking across the dining area, through the mass of kids. Kids hugged Foxy, and pulled on his tail, but he just ignored them and continued walking.
Finally, they reached the hallway leading to the security office. Foxy led the way, and knocked on the doorway of the open office. "What do you need, Foxy?" Golden Freddy asked, his eyes glued to the screen.
"Um, Mangle here was wondering if she could get a job here." Foxy said.
"Okay, Mangle. You can sit down in here at that chair." He said, pointing to a comfy looking chair across from the desk. "Foxy, you can go back to your cove now."
Foxy nodded silently and trudged back to his cove. Why doesn't Golden Freddy like me? I just don't understand.
He reached his cove and sat down on his stool. He listened to the kids playing, eating, arguing, pooping on the floor. Wait, what?! He exclaimed in his head. I might need to tell someone to add that to the rules sign. I wonder how people would react once they saw that sign. He chuckled lightly, then let his mind wander freely.
I wonder how Mangle is doing. Golden Freddy can be tough sometimes. I wonder what job she will get. A waitress? A chef?
"Foxy?" A voice asked from outside the curtain. Bonnie poked his head inside the curtains. "The place just closed. We can go home now."
"Okay." Foxy said, standing up. He stretched, then jumped off the stage. He looked around hopefully. Maybe she is still here. I guess I can take a look around and try to find her.
Foxy started walking around, attempting to find Mangle.
Not here. Not here. Not here either. Where could she be?
Foxy sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. I guess she left. Maybe I will see her tomorrow.
Foxy put on his winter coat and exited the building. He walked all the way back to his apartment and went inside. He locked the door and hung up his jacket. He sighed. Another day done.
He sat down and grabbed a random tupperware container and heated it up in his microwave. He opened it and ate whatever food was inside. Hmm. Leftover steak. It actually is still pretty good!
He hummed a small tune while washing the dishes, then went into his bedroom. He changed out of his pirate uniform and lay on his bed, exhausted. He closed his eyes then heard a voice in his head.
You didn't snap today. How unfortunate. Well, I guess we will have to wait a bit longer for me to get what I desire. You cannot avoid me forever. And when I come, they will all die. Freddy. Bonnie. Chica. Golden Freddy. And... what was her name again? Right. It was Mangle. I will make her name fit her perfectly. Then what will I do with you? I will force you to keep living. Everyone will hate you and you won't have a way to end it. You will be miserable for the rest of your life!
Foxy plugged his ears in a futile attempt to block out the voice. He sighed and fell asleep.Hello! Thank you for reading my story this far! I hope you enjoy it!
