It's Only Me

12AM:

My eyes slowly opened to complete silence. I sat up in my bed, then felt something wet on my face. Reaching my hand towards my face I wiped away the substance that covered the side of my mouth and near my chin. Drool? Gross! I don't think I've ever drooled since I was 4. After everything was taken care of from my gross drool mess, I lay back down and got ready to sleep again.

Not even a minute after I got comfy, a loud bang echoed throughout the room, making me jump; causing me to fall out of bed. I was very lucky that my head missed the side table, or else I might have injured my brain and would have to go to the hospital. I stayed on the floor for a bit, trying to slow my breathing; then the sound was heard again, making me jolt once more. I stood up really fast and searched for my flashlight; hoping that laughing kid didn't steal it like he did my batteries last night. I found the light eventually and quickly but quietly ran to the bathroom, assuming Candy was back at it again in the bathtub.

The banging continued even when I entered the bathroom; that's a first, normally it stops for a while. But this time it wasn't stopping, Candy just kept going and going and probably destroying the wall behind the curtain. I was a little more worried about confronting him tonight. What if I were to shine the light on him, and he opened the curtain and attacked me?

Candy's bashing was getting on my nerves; enough to get rid of my fear of dying, shockingly. I walked to the bathtub and without hesitation, shinned my flashlight at the curtain. Relatively enough, Candy was moving unlike the last few times and, indeed, he was giving his all on the tiled wall in front of him. The flashlight started going out and flashing but I didn't move and kept all attention on the tub. For a second while it glitches, I see something that looked like a tall, bulk shadow moving across the wall beside the bathtub. When the light finally fixed itself, I saw something that nearly killed me from the inside...

The bathtub curtain was swaying back and forth.

It was almost as if Candy hopped out of the tub and ran off somewhere; probably still somewhere in my room. I started to freak out and zipped my flashlight around the room; looking for that cat. Later I couldn't find him and left to go back to bed. I was at least glad the banging stopped; the room becoming really quiet. Also, I was surprised that no one heard that, not even the neighbours. It's weird and probably makes me even more crazy.

I hopped into bed and carefully placed my flashlight upside down on the bed side table. As I scooted under the covers and rested my head on my soft, white pillow, I started to hear muffled scampering from under the bed. 'What is that?' I thought. The sound soon paused and it gave me the chance to fall back asleep.

3AM:

I stirred in my sleep for bit because I felt warm air blowing behind me. My eyes opened so I could roll over to see what was causing that. I was already too late to change my mind; wishing I would have sooner. Right beside me was what looked like a smaller version of Freddy and was really scary looking. It was a very dark brown colour with rips in many different places. It had bright, white, glowing eyes and some of the metal inside was showing on it's right arm. I didn't move an inch, I just stared at it and it stared right back. Then after about a minute of still, silence, the tiny Freddy twitched and moved really fast off my bed; causing me to jump in bed. I didn't realize I was on the edge of my bed until my hand didn't touch the covers and I almost fell off my bed again. I was only hanging by half my body, upside-down; hanging there with my face near the side of the bed. First, almost hitting my head on the bedside table, then almost smacking my face on the side of the bed? This night is just going swell!

A rustled sound, the same one from about 3 hours ago, was heard again. Is there more of those things down there? Since my flashlight didn't fall out of my hands, I lifted up the hanging blanket and turned on my flashlight; pointing it under the bed. As I predicted, there was the same small Freddy plus two more, making three, under my bed. The stopped and tuned to look at me at the same time; then ran off, out of the light's blinding shine. I stayed there for a moment, processing everything that just happened, then got out of bed to look around the room.

As I roamed the room, I made sure to avoid the bathroom at all cost, almost certain that Candy was in there; waiting for me. I wandered into the walk-in closet and I remembered that I found Bonnie in here last night. Pushing aside the clothes on the left side, I shinned my flashlight at the space behind it, but didn't get any time to see what was, or wasn't, there because the light suddenly burst; sending sparks from the head of the flashlight. I gasped and looked up from my broken tool to see a pair of glowing eyes, and a tall silhouette, but it didn't look like Bonnie, it was a lot skinnier. The last thing I saw was the glow blinding my eyesight and the last thing I felt was my body hitting the wooded floor.

5AM:

When I woke. I sat up so fast that my head started to hurt. Holding one of my hands to my forehead I had so many thoughts running through my mind.

What happened?

What was that thing?

My headache finally went away and I realized where I was... I was back in my bed. Was that all a dream? I looked around my room; seeing nothing out of the ordinary. Although I wasn't convinced that everything was okay, so I searched for my flashlight which was simply placed on the table beside me. When I picked it up, it felt lighter in weight than it normally did. I flipped the head over towards me and my face flushed, the glass cover was gone and the inside was empty. So it was real because my flashlight shattered when the mystery thing was in the walk-in closet. I placed the only light source I had back where I found it and sighed. How am I going to check on all the rooms? I can barely see a thing in this room, let alone know where any of the animatronics may be.

I was on the edge of giving up on trying to survive when I heard a loud, shaking sound coming from somewhere. I tried my best not to scream out and somehow succeeded. The shaking came again and I decided to see what was going on. Using what little light the room had, I navigated myself toward the area the sound was coming from, which was the walk-in closet. This was the same place that the weird creature was just a few hours ago. When I got inside I noticed a green glow coming from behind the left side of clothes, so I pushed aside the hanging wardrobe to check it out. What I found was some sort of glow-stick flashlight standing upright on the floor, but what really got my attention was the bold writing on the wall above it in some sort of black paint. It said 'REMEMBER' and had a messy drawing of a box with a line going across then down on the one side. I stood there for a while, trying to understand what this was and what it meant.

What do I need to remember?

What does that box represent?

All of a sudden I started to hear something. I recognized what that was and started to sing along. It was the music box song I got stuck in my head from yesterday when I was dancing. It randomly came to me that this is what the message was trying to say. It wanted me to remember my song... to calm down I'm guessing. I continued to sing the slow, calm, peaceful song as I grab the new flashlight and walk back to my bed. I opened the drawer to the bedside table and placed the light inside. After that I climbed into bed, pulling the blanket over me and went back to sleep; the song still playing in my mind.

This night actually didn't turn out too bad.
