"I see you."

Of course he does, what else is new?

"I'm not scared of you," I said, not moving at all, "You're just like the others."

"Am I?"

I started to regret my statement a small bit, Fredbear was still in my grasp and he whispered to me.

"What are you doing?"

I put him down and get off my bed, not yet turning around.

"I'm facing the nightmares."

"I won't be so easy to beat."

"Doesn't hurt to try."

I took a deep breath and finally turned to face the figure. To be honest, it was almost impossible to see him, but I could see the outline of the animatronic. His body was almost transparent and I could see the metal skeleton inside. His body was black, more like a shadow, and had a yellow top hat and matching bowtie. He was creepy looking, I'll admit, but I wasn't afraid. I was indeed right, he was just like all the rest that were haunting me. Only there was one, how could he possibly be even more of a threat than the rest? I looked to where my bedroom door was located, knowing the light switch was right beside it, and started slowly creeping toward it; keeping my eyes on the animatronic. His red eyes beamed into mine like lasers but I kept moving. I managed to reach the door, but the switch was still up... he burst the light. This better be a dream, it has to be. The black animatronic's laughter could be heard as clear as if he was right beside me.

"I thought you said you weren't scared."

"I said I'm not scared of you," I argued, "I'm just frightened by the situation."

"Well aren't you a little smarty pants."

I was immediately offended and I frowned. That's exactly what Grandma had said to me...

"Aw, how cute. You know, five nights ain't gonna cut it; the nightmares never end."

"Fine by me. I know how to face my fears. Besides, there's only one of you, this will be super easy. Considering all the practice I've had."

I got the idea that if I distracted him long enough, I would be able to open the door and find Grandpa; I know he can help me. I inched closer to the door so that I was right in front of the door knob. The black animatronic's shinning, red eyes were still locked on me, but I don't think he noticed my actions. I reached my arm behind me and took hold of the handle; prepared to throw the door open and run. I shifted my glance to Fredbear and he was still on my bed, only closer to the headboard than before. He had the look of pure terror written on his face. He quickly glanced my way and in that time, I gave him a warm smile, letting him know I had this all under control... at least I hope so. I looked back at the shadowy figure but his head was turned slightly... why?

"Him and I have a great friendship," he then said.

After he turned his head some more to look at Fredbear, I saw the plush's eyes immediately go wide.

"Don't we?"

Fredbear stayed silent; now shaking in fear.

"Leave him alone!" I shouted, "He's had enough torture from you!"

"You have nothing to worry about, Sam..."

All of a sudden, I couldn't see Fredbear's bright, white eyes or his plush body on my bed anymore. Then something was banging on my bedroom door; hard enough to shake and make me let go of it. I backed away, being careful not to run into anything, and I jumped at the door slamming open. When I looked back, I saw the one animatronic I thought was long gone.

"He won't feel a thing."
