I had no dreams or nightmares for the rest of the night but I felt my body shaking... why? I opened my eyes but could only see a blurry image, that was until the thing shaking me stopped. My vision cleared and Grandpa was standing above me; smiling.
"Wake up, kiddo. You got to get ready for school," he told me.
I sat up in bed as he moved out of the way and I took a look at the digital clock next to me. 7:30am... that's a first, I guess thinking about my song really helped me sleep. For once I wasn't extremely tired and not wanting to do anything ever again. When I got out of bed, I stretched my arms and walked over to my dresser to pick out some clothes. What really surprised me was that there was already an outfit on top for me, plus Grandpa was nowhere to be seen. Wow, he is very sneaky. I quickly got dressed and ran down the stairs; into the dining room. I was greeted by Grandpa coming towards me with a bowl of cereal; placing it on the table for me.
Once I was done eating, I pushed the bowl away from me and wiped my mouth with my sleeve. Grandpa shifted in his seat, then asked something I had a slight suspicion that he would ask.
"You ready to talk?"
I sighed, getting very easily noticed by Grandpa, and nodded.
"As ready as I'll ever be, I guess," I answered.
We both moved to the couch in the living room and I waited for Grandpa's motion to tell me he's ready. Once he sat comfortably and faced all his attention to me, I started to talk about just about everything about that night.
"Well this time, instead of waking up at 12am like the first night I woke up at 2am. I was also checking around the room to see if any animatronics showed up, which was none so far, until I heard footsteps outside my room. I thought it was you at first but you wouldn't be up that early, right? So I took my flashlight and looked out the door. Before I turned on the light, I listened for the feet again but I only heard breathing. When I turned on my flashlight, there was an animatronic walking away. It was Freddy from the pizzeria standing in the hallway of the house, so now it was him and Candy. I then checked everywhere again and went back to bed.
"Then I woke up at 4am and heard a sound coming from the bathroom. It was Candy again and I also found out how to make him go away. But it led to my flashlight being weird. Then I went to the walk-in closet and found Bonnie behind the left side of the hanging clothes, but I didn't do anything. Then I checked everywhere else and the flashlight glitches were starting to get on my nerves. So I went to go get the batteries you gave me but they went missing. Then I heard a child laughing but when I turned around, nothing was there. I started to freak out and get really worried and scared, then I passed out and was late for school."
To be honest, I don't think I've ever talked as much as I have been in my life... it's crazy! Grandpa just stared at me and then put his hand on my shoulder. He then got up and walked away, grabbing my backpack and handing it to me.
"The bus will be here soon," he said, "Have a good day at school."
He pushed me out the front door and to my surprise, the school bus was just about here; near the end of my street. I smiled and waved goodbye to Grandpa and he waved back, smiling slightly.
When I arrived at school I prepared for the worst. Today was another day that I didn't have Foxy with me because Grandma still needed to fix him. I did the normal routine of going inside and going to my classroom. I found my hook on the wall and hung my backpack on it. I opened my bag and searched for my apple slices, I always eat them before class. Grandpa knows this and so he packs them. As I was searching, I noticed something else in my bag other than my lunch box. I grab it and pull it out. What I discovered was that it was a small notebook. I'm guessing Grandma told Grandpa about the incident with Taylor; buying me another. It was black with blue and green circles all around the cover. There was also a name tag across the top that read 'Sam's Notebook'. I hugged the new book and said 'thank you' a million times in my head to them. Obviously I'll have to say it to them in person but I was just really happy and thankful for them. Going back to finding my apples, I got them, sitting down to eat them.
