I was standing in front of the college gates which were quite huge, if that's the right word for describing a gate. Vocabulary and Geography had never been my forte. I could see the building in the distance from where I stood as the boundary walls weren't too high.

The only thought occupying my mind was; I hope no one I know is here. Which was almost like saying 'floods in Sahara'.

Well, who cared anyway? I was not going to let people get to me now. I had to be the one causing the pain now. I reminded myself.

With those thoughts, I ascended the stairs that led to the main door. A couple of students were also walking past me. Some girls wearing way too modest clothes for my tight shorts and red crop top. I had left my hair to fall down.

Months ago I used to be a modest dresser too but past was past. People change. I changed.

I pushed those thoughts away at the back of my mind as I entered the college's threshold.

After entering the gate, I took one long look at the interior and Oh My Goodness!

There was a really big ground. And when I say big I mean BIG. It had trimmed grass with flowers and bushes here and there with a fountain in the middle. There were a few benches around.

There were lots of students: some walking and talking, some studying, some deep in thought, some in a group and some alone. Two cemented paths were made around the grassy ground that were leading to the main building.

It was seven floors high. On top of the light brown building in dark-brownish underlined words was written

CONVANLEA COLLEGE

I disapproved of the simple name and walked slowly on the cemented path towards the building.

Just as I neared it, I removed the bag from my shoulder and shuffled the things in my bag to find the damned schedule.

'Where did I place it?' I wondered.

As if on the accord, I remembered placing it in my drawer and never putting it in my bag.

Great! Just fucking great!

I had no choice but to go to the administration office. To make things worse, I didn't know where that was.

So I just decided to get into the building and find it.

I walked into the building and entered the ground floor. It was beautifully done and was quite modest: marble floor and walls with contrasting decorations with many corridors and rooms. The main floor was mostly staff offices.

I was randomly roaming around when I spotted a map of the entire building. I hurried towards it and started to look for the admin office. After a struggle of a minute, I spotted it.

I had to go to the basement, so I made my way downstairs.

'Man, this place is huge.' I looked around in awe. The basement was decorated the same way as the main hall.

After roaming the basement in circles, again and again, I couldn't find the office. There were only classrooms here. Every now and then, students would pass me but my ego wouldn't let me ask them.

Frustrated, I ran upstairs and decided to check the map again. But on my way, I bumped into someone.

"Hey! Watch it," I shouted.
