"I can't believe he's doing this to me," I hissed angrily as I paced back and forth in front of the sofa Harry was sitting on.
"Maybe there's a reason he isn't telling you. I'm sure he wouldn't be hiding anything on purpose," he reasoned while fidgeting with his mobile.
"Bullshit!"
Seven days since the visit to graveyard and Uncle still wasn't telling me what my own grave was doing there. The thought was enough to send chills down my spine.
In the office, he would only come to discuss official things and before I could push the grave matter further, he'd leave.
"Come on. Maybe it's something you're not ready to hear. Something that might hurt you?" He kept on coming with more and more suggestions by the minute.
"You can't believe what I'm going through!"
"Then tell me."
I had been eating his head since he came this morning at eleven o'clock about how Uncle was acting so childish. He hadn't asked me what it was that was bothering me. I didn't want to tell him. I was just showing my frustration and he was simply trying to help not really sure about anything.
"Not happening."
I didn't think that he was untrustworthy but I just didn't like telling random people about my personal life specifically things relating my family.
That's why not even Adrian or Mantella knew about my past. All they had known was that my parents were dead and that I lived alone. Only Axan had known the entire thing.
I went over to the sofa and sprawled on it, half lying on it while half of my body dangled over the edge. I was wearing my blue shirt which was very lose for my slim figure but I loved it anyway. So baggy, so airy.
We were in the drawing room on the upper floor. I loved it up there. I was even thinking of shifting my room from the ground floor.
"Ma'am, lunch is ready." I glanced up to see Samantha standing at the door.
"Okay. We're coming. And learn to knock before you enter," I said strictly.
"Yes Ma'am," she replied somewhat ashamed.
A moment later I jumped up and glanced at Harry who was sitting fidgeting with his mobile.
"Hey Mister, get up. Lunch is ready." I ushered him.
"Just a minute." He increased his typing speed.
"Hurry!" I exclaimed.
"Fine, I'm coming," he said and got up from his sofa.
I took Harry with me to the lounge on the same floor, that's where the dining table was.
The decors on the table hardly made a place for placing food but we managed. There was pasta, Chinese rice and orange juice.
My favourite.
The moment I saw the food, I ran towards the table and dug in it. While eating like a pig, I saw Harry standing at the door, still taking in the details of the room. This room really was very beautifully kept, if I must say so myself.
Harry joined me on the table a moment later.
We kept on eating in silence and I being me couldn't stand the silence so I asked him to sing for me.
He chocked on his food.
Did I ask something stupid? I recalled my words and no, I had not. Well, maybe.
