I entered those all too familiar doors.

Almost three months had passed since the college started and I'd been working really hard to keep up with my grades.

At the college grounds, I looked around for some familiar faces. I spotted Mantella instantly, who after all those weeks had stopped making any attempts to get along with me. Our eyes met for a brief second before I looked away.

The weather was quite sunny today, to the point of being hot.

I walked on the pavement to reach the building. Everywhere around me, I could hear chatters of students. I was only one of the few walking alone until Amanda came rushing from behind me.

"Yo D," she said hugging me. She wore a loose trouser and an equally baggy shirt which made her look more like a pole in a tent.

"Hey Amanda," I said carelessly.

Amanda was my buddy, or my minion, always carrying on my dirty biddings with me.

Shenili, my other friend, joined us too a few minutes later just as we were about to enter the building. She was holding a coffee cup in her hand and was wearing big round sun glasses.

We shared all classes but Arabic. Both were a bunch of losers, always going after boys, drinking, partying and having fun. Who'd got time for that junk?
Perks of having rich dads, I suppose.

"When's the first class, Shen? I forgot today's schedule at home."

"In fifteen minutes."

"Biology it is. Right?" I asked and she nodded.

"Then let's get going!" I said a little too enthusiastically.

"What's the rush?" Amanda asked.

"The rush? I wouldn't put it like this if I were you," I smirked.

"You got something in mind?" That was Shenili.

"Totally," I drew a mischievous grin.

This happened to be one of the times where I mocked people on their looks or laughed at their fashion or accused them of things they never did in such a fashion which mostly ended them up in tears.

I preferably went after the students with high moralistic values, who would take even the smallest of accusations at heart.

This time it was Laman and Lessly whom I decided to attack.

I walked into the class and called out Laman's name loudly enough to attract everyone's attention. The classroom was only half filled.

"So, hows your girlfriend doing?" I asked when he eyed me with those what-are-you-upto-now looks.

"I don't have a girlfriend," he said in his Austrian accent through gritted teeth.

"Oh really? Then...what about Lessly?" A girl sitting in the corner of the room turned to look at me when I mentioned her name. Her mouth opened widely when she registered why had I called her name. Her big glasses fell about her nose.

Then what? I began the ultimate drama. I impeached them both for having a secret relationship and having seen them snogging and making out at the back of chemistry lab the other day, which was entirely a fabrication. But the way I presented these things, they seemed truer.

Laman and Lessly were orthodox Christians and I had also once seen Lessly wear a purity ring so what I was accusing her of was a big thing for her especially.

Well, I myself never slept around with just anyone, considering it highly immoral, except for that one time... But before my mind would start running on the roller coaster of memories, I steadied my emotions.
