Chapter 30
*Ciara's POV*
I was still deciding on whether we'd tell Harry about what had happened earlier today. It still worries me to think that somebody is after Mason and I, and there's nothing I could do about it. I can't go to the police, Mike could have the entire force already searching for me. I never befriended anybody from the police station, so how would I know who would be on my side?
Mike has always been the "leader," I suppose you could say out of all his friends. They did whatever for him, whenever. Mike had all his little buddies wrapped around his finger, which I used to think was a good thing, until now. If I heard the slightest noise, I thought it was somebody coming for me or my son. It gave me the worst anxiety, I can't think about anything besides it.
We were parked at a gas station, Jordan's filling up her tank. About an hour had gone by since the car had chased us, and I was still in a fright. After that disaster, we drove around making sure the coast was clear. I called Harry a few times to check on them, everything seemed to be going fine which made me feel a bit better. Jordan was just about on empty when she found a gas station, so we decided to stop and fill up.
"I don't see a hole or anything," I say to Jordan as I examin the back of the vehicle. We thought that the car had been shot at considering we heard a loud bang, but now we couldn't find any evidence to prove that theory.
"Yeah, me neither," she responds while finishing up.
I get back into the car and turn up the air conditioner. When Jordan sits down in the driver's seat, I start to talk more about what had happened. "It couldn't have been Mike in the car, his car was at the police station, so who was it?"
"Ciar, if I knew, we wouldn't be sitting at this shitty gas station right now. I'd be kicking that guy's ass." I see the corners of her mouth form into a fake smile. "We'll be okay. You, me, Mason, we'll all be fine."
I nod, wishing I could actually believe that. Mike hadn't given up, so why would he give up now? If anything, he's only going to become more determined to find Mason and I. That's just the way Mike's mind functions. "We can't tell Harry or Louis about any of this, they'd flip." I instruct.
She lets out a loud sigh. "We have to, this is a lot more serious than we thought, we can't risk them getting hurt because you didn't want them to be angry with you." I know she's right, and that's why I didn't want to hear anymore of it. I turn up the radio, an unfamiliar song streams through the speakers.
The music is turned back down suddenly, Jordan being the source of that. "You need to tell them when we get back. Do you want one of them to get hurt because of this?"
"Of course not!" I snap quickly.
"Then you, my lovely friend, need to warn them."
"I know!"
"I know you know, but are you going to tell them?" I stare out the window, I didn't want Harry to be mad at me for lying to him. I felt like I was ruining both of their lives, I already drove them out of their homes, they can't even live their daily routine because of me!
"Yeah, I have to," I agree. Harry being a little mad at me would be better than having him or Louis getting hurt because of me. It has to be done.

When we pull into their bodyguard's driveway, Louis is sitting on the porch. His immediate reaction to seeing us was to wave, which we both did in return. I get out of the car, Louis is already walking over to me, his hands buried inside of his pockets.
"I missed you Louis!" I acknowledge him into a tight hug.
"I missed you too!" He confesses, a smile across his face. I pull away, Jordan had caught up with us and was now locking her car.
