Epilogue

*Ciara's POV*

I guess you really don't get to choose who you fall in love with, because if I had the choice, I don't think I would of chosen to fall in love with Harry. I think I would of picked somebody who had a lot of differences from him, maybe somebody who had blonde short hair, brown eyes, maybe even a different personality.

But then again, didn't I just describe Mike? Mike, as in the man who tried to kill me and my son. Mike, as in the man who murdered my best friend. Mike, as in the man who abused me but gave me a chance to be with somebody I realize I needed to be with.

Which ended up to be Harry.

Sometimes, you fall in love with people you never expected to fall in love with. God has a plan for us all, and I think he gives the hardest battles to his strongest warriors. I was a warrior, and I think Harry was my reward for keeping my head up and sticking through the hard times. I feel as if Harry and I both needed each other to continue our journey of life, so God put us together.

Through everything we've been through, we both still managed to want each other more and more each day. Now here him and I stand, in front of a group of people, him in a tux and me in a spectacular wedding dress. Three years after we've known each other and we're more in love with each other than ever.

The preacher is speaking, but everything he said went in one ear and out the other. I was too busy looking at how handsome Harry appeared. I wanted to take a snapshot of this moment, this was never going to happen to us ever again, I wanted to remember the way Harry was looking at me during this moment when I'm older.

Harry noticing I was in a daze, widened his eyes amusingly, as to say pay attention, I smiled and listened to the preacher. "At this time, I'll ask you, Harry, and you, Ciara, to face each other and take each other's hands," so we did. I clutched Harry's warm hands tightly, savoring this moment forever.

I looked out to the crowd of people, an involuntary smile danced across my lips. Everybody who we considered important to us had arrived today, all wanting to be apart of this special day. We were standing on a raised platform by home plate, Harry told me years ago that he wanted to get married here, and now, it was happening.

"Harry, will you take Ciara to be your wife, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you cherish her friendship and love her today, tomorrow and forever? Will you trust and honor her, laugh with her and cry with her? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?"

Harry smiled widely, revealing the dimple on his left cheek. "I will."

"Ciara, will you take Harry to be your husband, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you cherish his friendship and love him today, tomorrow and forever? Will you trust and honor him, laugh with him and cry with him? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?"

The smile remained on my face as I copied Harry's words. "I will."

"Then by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." Harry lifted up my veil without hesitation, our lips connecting together, which sent all our friend's and family clapping and shouting. Harry and I both couldn't help but smirk from ear to ear as we kissed, we were actually married

Harry leaned in close to my ear, "you told me three years ago that you wanted me to save you an invitation to my wedding to see this place all prettied up, how do you think it looks?" He cheekily grinned.

I looked around one more time, though I already knew my answer. I spotted Louis and Mason giving me the thumbs up behind Harry's back, I couldn't help but laugh a little. "Almost as good as you," I said, leaning in and kissing him again.
