Chapter 19
*Ciara's POV*
It's now a warm Wednesday evening. The sun's shining and the birds are chirping as we step out the door way. Harry, Louis, Mason and I are going to one of their band mate's home for a party. I was told that it was some sort of "welcome back" party for somebody's girlfriend, I think her name is Perrie.
My stomach's twisting and turning, I'm so nervous to be meeting new people. Mason wore a striped white and blue polo shirt with khaki shorts. Louis and Harry were both wearing casual clothes, as well as I. I had white shorts with a pink tank top on. I tried to get my hair straight by brushing it at least a hundred times but it's still at an uneven wave.
"You look pretty," Louis compliments me.
"Are you talking to me or to Harry?" I giggle, my eyes glancing over to Harry. His eyes were locked on Louis with a death stare, his jaws clenched.
"You, but Harry looks ravishing as well." Louis smiles a cheeky grin, winking at Harry who just rolls his eyes.
"Thank you."
"Anytime Ciar."
"Are we going to go to Zayn's or not?" Harry asks harshly, opening up the driver's door and getting in. I place Mason in his car seat, buckling him up. Once I get settled in the car myself, I notice Louis and Harry are having a discussion too low for me to pick up. What could they be talking about that I wasn't allowed to hear?
In almost less than two minutes, we pull into a drive way. "We're here already?" I ask. I was expecting it to take much longer.
"Yeah, Zayn lives in the next complex over from us," Harry answers as he shuts down the engine. I can feel my heart begin to race faster, what was everybody going to think of me?
I sit there, staring at the house in front of us when Harry opens up my door. "Are you nervous?" He places his hand on my shoulder.
"Yes." I finally admit.
"Don't be. They're gonna love you." I look at him and give him a shy, nervous smile. Harry moves out of the way, allowing me some room to get out of the vehicle. He jogs over to the other side of the car and gets Mason out, I start to observe the area. A few party balloons were tied on the mailbox, as well as the railing by the front door. I see a bunch of people running over to greet us, automatically I try to hide my face.
I hear a bunch of different conversations occurring all at once, I take in a deep breath and walk to the other side of the car where everybody was hugging and smiling widely. "So I'm taking this is the popular Ciara?" A man with tanned skin and styled brown hair asks. He smiles brightly at me and offers to shake my hand.
"I wouldn't say popular," I nervously laugh as I shake his firm hand. "But I'm She, and you are?"
"Zayn. It's a pleasure to meet you, Louis and Harry have told me tons about you!"
"Hi! I'm Perrie!" A pale skinned, blue eyed blonde hugs me. I stand there for a moment but hug back once I realize what she's doing. "Oh God, you're perfect." She starts to feel strands of my hair. "How long did it take for you to grow it out this long?"
"I'm not sure, it's just always been long," I smile, my fingers shaking from nerves.
"Already Perrie? Come on," Zayn nags. "Give the girl some space!"
"It's not everyday Louis and Harry bring a girl as pretty as Ciara around to meet us. Well, actually..." She closes her mouth. "Never mind!" She beams, probably realizing what she was leading onto say wasn't appropriate at the moment.
