Kim Jongin.. The Vampire King knew not to trust mortals.. That they were merely pawns in his little game he liked to call life. Human’s served one purpose for the Vampire race. Food. To lust for a human’s blood was a taboo. The worst kind of sin for a vampire to commit was to lust after a human.. both body.. and blood. Jongin had watched his fellow vampires die off and be reborn.. He had  watched them grow and die century after century, and he spent each century ruling over them. His second in command spent a lot of his time in the mortal world hunting. The kid was only a newborn and his power was incredible, he could move things with his mind.. and open portals to other dimensions. Xi Luhan.. He would serve as a great warrior when the time came to overthrow the rulers of the human’s.. He turned to his second in command and smirked. “Luhan.. Your back.. How was the human world? Find anyone interesting?” He asked him. Luhan was older than him in human years.. But in vampire years.. He might as well be Jongin’s great grandson.

Luhan looked at Jongin and smiled as he bowed to him, showing his respect to his king. “Ah.” he said. “It was fun!” he said, eyes glowing happily at the memories of the fear he caused. He loved scaring those measly humans, listening to their hearts pound in their chests, the blood flowing rapidly through their veins. And he may have had a snack or two while he was out too, but that was neither here nor there.

“I did.” he said. Lifting his hand, he waved it before the two of them, opening a small reflecting portal. “This guy.” he said and watched as the small male sat at a large oak desk, typing away on some strange object that Luhan learned was called a computer. “He’s rather interesting. He is one of the few who don’t believe in us.” he said and looked to Kai. “He’s not the type to say that to seem brave, but secretly believes in us. No, he truly does not believe in us.” he chuckled.

“I played with this kid for hours and nothing! Not even a little squeak. His heart never raced, his blood pressure never rose. To be honest, I thought maybe he was another vampire at first.” he commented and looked to Kai. “He’s pretty too.”

Jongin’s eyes widened. “He didn’t even flinch?” He asked a little more that just shocked. “I’m intrigued… This.. Motral.. He doesn’t believe in us? You are absolutely positive? What have you tried on him?” He asked his second in command.

“Everything short of biting the other and turning him.” Luhan said and smirked. “I threw things off the shelf. I moved his papers, I ghost fingers over him. And nothing.” he said and stared at the boy still at the desk. “It’s like...he’s a….what’s the word….robot!” he said and snapped his fingers.

Jongin’s eyes widened. “Really? What about talking to him? Did you try that? But not showing yourself.” He asked and leaned forward. “This is very interesting.. A mortal that is immune to our attacks.. I need to see this for myself..”

“Oh...no.” Luhan said. “I didn’t think of doing that.” he said. He waved his hand, making the portal bigger and permeable. “Here, go. I’m sure it’ll be entertaining to watch.” he chuckled.
