Jongin got hit by a ball to the face several times that day because he kept blanking out, missing so many good opportunities to make a goal. His soccer team mates cursed at him for being so clumsy these days. They just don’t know what’s happening. Why does he keep on falling and randomly sliding down at very specific moments? Jongin wanted to cure this, but there’s nothing much he can do. So he clenched his fists and encouraged himself to talk to Chanyeol about his problem. Chanyeol, hopefully, would know what to do with Jongin's situation. But Chanyeol almost choked on his own spit when Jongin told him.

Jongin is in love with Kyungsoo. 

“I don't know but I really like Kyungsoo,” Jongin blurted out. Chanyeol was dumbfounded for a moment. “But he hates alphas, doesn’t he?” Jongin's shoulders slumped hopelessly.

“What have you done to...hm, approach him so far?” Chanyeol asked.

“I stare at him without saying anything for two hours. He often helps out at the college library, right?” Jongin smiled sheepishly. Chanyeol remembered that Kyungsoo told him about a weird kid who kept following him and staring at him without saying anything, often crashing into bookshelves when he was about to leave.

Chanyeol had never seen Jongin like this. The entire college student body thought of him as this cool and attractive rookie from soccer club. But now, look at him all giggly by himself and so hopelessly in love. “Alright, do you want me to introduce him to you?” Jongin's eyes widened.

“Really? Do you think he would be fine with that?”

Chanyeol nodded reassuringly. He already set up a plan in his head anyway.

Chanyeol doesn’t get why Jongin would want Kyungsoo as a mate when there are so many omegas and betas willing to become his mate without him putting too much effort.

Why did it have to be Kyungsoo.

“Oh, and consider this; start talking to him, okay?”

Jongin looked like he was having a little mental breakdown but agreed to Chanyeol's sugggestion anyway.

Kyungsoo was everything that an omega should be and yet, everything one should not be at the same time. Contrary to popular belief about omegas, Kyungsoo knows how to stand up for himself. He knows how to fight, speak up about something he doesn't like, and say no when he means it. But being an omega, which is traditionally the lowest in the hierarchy of roles, Kyungsoo can't help but think that it was obvious how most people still believe omegas are supposed to be submissive to the upper roles of the hierarchy.

Kyungsoo is an omega and he's a pretty one. Smooth and pale skin, cherry colored lips and dark doe eyes, and as if being pretty in the face wasn't enough, he is also blessed with his rather small body and full hips. There are so many alphas who approach him just for a little taste, but Kyungsoo wanted none of them, because what those alphas meant when they 'approach' him equals to being inappropriate and is sometimes borderline sexual harrassment.

Kyungsoo doesn't like alphas. He doesn't like the status-quo and he lets anyone know how much he hates them. He bit an alpha kid back in kindargarten who dared to touch him without consent. He slapped another at the age of fourteen because the alpha tried to harass him. And other time,recently, he violently elbowed one more for groping his butt. Even just the thought having such wolves touch him is nauseating enough already, let alone having them mark him or anything further than that. Kyungsoo would rather stay being mateless for the rest of his life.
