Hey there wonderful guys, I hope you like this chapter the same way I did when I finished writing it. It's a sneak peek into Sebastian's dark past and Sebastian's and Laura's relationship enters a whole different level. Please vote and comment if you like this chapter ^_^

Laura kept looking out of the window while Sebastian focused entirely on driving. He knew what Laura's silence meant. Normally, she'd barge him with a machine gun of questions. But she was silent now. Talking about how exactly were our dear ones killed wasn't easy. Talking it out required courage. Hearing it out required even more courage. Because Laura was aware how hearing about Sebastian's past, how Delroy destroyed his family, would succeed in destroying that veil too which Laura had spent so many efforts and tears in building.

When Sebastian had told Laura she won't be able to go back home any time sooner, she'd adjusted to this truth by veiling it with ignorance. She knew Sebastian had told her the truth. Even she herself believed it. But a part of her didn't want to let that 1000th part of hope die away. And accepting ignorance was her only option.

She ignored the fact that her life won't be back to normal ever again. She ignored the danger which hovered like a shadow of an of infinity of darkness over her and people dear to her. Her ignorance did succeed in restoring her fake cool of mind and this veil got so thicker that it was now hidden deep inside her heart.

But now, as soon as Sebastian's past would fall on her ears, she knew what would happen. She knew how this veil would get destroyed. She knew how the million worries she'd curbed down after so many efforts would surface again and haunt her forever. She knew how broke she'd become once Sebastian's past would shed light on new worries she hadn't had previously considered.

But even though she was aware that hearing about Sebastian's terrible past would make her go through hell once again, she still wanted to know what had happened. The worries would surface again breaking that veil of pleasant ignorance. But she'd realised ignorance was never an option.

The main reason Laura was avoiding to get to know about Sebastian's past however was the thing called trust.

Laura trusted Sebastian so much that she could never ever decide on her own without asking him for his views. She was now dependent on him the same way an ivy is on a support. From little insights from Clara-the-witch or Pamela or her dreams, she also was aware of what kind of person Sebastian was before. And she also believed that hearing about Sebastian's past would once and for all either nourish that trust or cut that ivy in a billion pieces. She'd never look at Sebastian the same way she looked now once she was sure he was a heartless murderer. And to welcome this surety, she wasn't ready.

Sometimes, living in a dilemma forever is better than facing the ugly truth. But to believe or not in this was also something Laura was seeing as a dilemma now.

Unlike Laura however Sebastian had already taken some action.

"We were at our mansion." He pressed on the breaks as the chevy skidded to stop.

Sebastian closed his eyes as he passed into a memory he dreaded the most.

"We were having dinner." He said

His mother was feeding his little brother some rice while his father kept looking at him, disappointed at his performance at war. Ashamed at himself and confused at what was wrong about a 11 year old failing at swordsmanship,he kept avoiding any eye contact.

"You disgust me, Sebastian. I wish I had no child."
Sebastian' s father, Julius Deathstar, the Lord of the Merigrimmian Deathstars said with gritted teeth.

As soon as he heard his father, a tear trickled down Sebastian's cheeks. He jumped off his chair, pushed away his dinner and ran away to his house as more tears of anger and grief wetted his face.
