Chapter 2

RECAP!!!

"Happy birthday asshole!" Says Axel. What a shocker! Note the sacasm," Im going to go pick up the birthday girl."

"And that is?"

"Christy. Brian's baby sister."

"Oh her."

"Oh her? Wtf dude cut her some slack for once." Says Axel. He stomps out of the house and slams the door. I just hope and pray to the Moon goddess that nerd is not my mate.

Today you'll find your mate. You better not reject her asshole.

I cut the link with my wolf side and get ready to go to my prison. School. 15 minutes later I am ready to go to school. I head out the door and get in my car, a couple of minutes later im in the school parking lot. A bunch of girls are already waiting for me. I park the car and get out the car.

"Happy birthday babe." Says my girlfriend Corey. She comes up to me and kisses me on my lips. I look into her eyes. Hm..nothing. I guess she's not my mate...I wonder who?..

I grab her waist and pull her to me. She giggles and kisses me lightly. I don't feel the sparks either. Something must be wrong.  As I pull away I come to the most toxicating smell of strawberry, vanilla and coconut.

'Mate!'

'NO! What if she is..is a nerd? I will reject her.'

'If you do I will never let you shift! And I will ignore you and be the pain in the ass.'

'Whatever!' Scoffs Jake. Whats his deal?

I cut the link with Jake and go try to find out who is my mate. Hopefully she is worthy to find...

Axel's POV**

"Axel! Axel!" Christy calls me from accross the hall. I walk calmly to her as she is waiting impatiently. I hope Im her mate.

"Yes?" I ask curiously. "I found my mate. Well not exactly but I got his scent. I just wanted to let you know I am going to skip first period to find my mate."

"Just don't have too much fun." I chuckle. When really I am hurt in the inside. I want to be HER mate. Hopefully he is as good enough for her than what I think. She is beautiful, its that nobody sees it but Brian and me. Chase always bullied her when we were young. When Brian found out he beat the shit out of Chase. He learned his lesson to never mess with your best friend's little sister. I nod and walk to class. I glance back and give her a thumbs up.

Christy's POV**

I walk around the halls as soon as first period starts.

'You better be nice.'

'Woah! Who are you?'

'Jess your wolf.'

'Oh I kinda forgot about you. Hehe...'

'Hmph..'

'Sorry Jess! When we find our mate you can have him. Promise.'

'Okay I forgives. Eh your not as bad as I thought. Get it? Hahahaha!'

'Yeah...funny.'

I cut wolf linking and concentrate on finding my mate. I got his wondeful scent in mind...mint, apples, and chocolate. Weird smell but it makes me happy. I walk into the abandoned classroom as I smell the same scent that makes my heart beat fast. My mate..I cant believe it. Chase Daniel King is my mate.

"Mate." I say walking up to him.

"No!" Chase says a bit too harsh for me.

"W-what?" I ask.

"I-" He starts but I cut him off.

"Please no! No! Please!" I say a bit too desperate. Well he is my mate.

"I, Alpha of the Moonlight Pack, reject my mate."

"Why? You'll regret this asshole."

"You're fat, ugly, a nobody. It will be an embarrasment to be around you. I don't care my answer will always be no." Ouch that hurts...tears are flowing down my cheeks. I can't believe it, my best friends brother had rejected me. I know he will regret it.

"Asshole." How I wish it was my best friend. Why not my best friend Axel? Why am I mates with the player of the pack? I won't stand a chance seeing him around with other girls. I am his. I need to get out of here. Tonight..

Axel's POV** (texts)

To: Christy

From: Axel

Where are you? We got free period next so meet me in my car.

A couple minutes later my phone vibrates...

To: Axel

From: Christy

Ok. See you in a couple minutes.

She doesn't seem excited in my opinion. Oh well...only one way to find out.
