Chapter 18

Did you guys watch the AMAs? One Direction and S5OS rocked. Who is your favorite band member in either band?

I enter the pack house with David hot on my trail.

"What are you doing? Stop ignoring my questions, answer me!" David pleads. I sigh, and turn to look at him.

"Making things right." I say.

"Why?" He asks another question, oh boy. I ignore him once again and make my way to Chase's office.

I finally reach his door, and knock on it three times.

"Come in!" I hear his sexy- Woah. He is not sexy, he's my Alpha, nothing more.

I open the large double doors, to see Chase glaring holes at David, who is behind me. He holds his arms up in mock surrender, but says nothing.

"Why is he here?" Chase emphasizes the word 'he'.

"David is here for me to know, and for you to find out." I look back at David only to find him smiling widely.

"Aw, I knew you loved me!" David screams and opens his arms to hug me.

"No, I don't love lemons." I snap.

"I'm not a lemon! Come on, if this is about that girl you said was my sister, I said I was sorry. Besides, I bought you ice cream, give me a break." He says giving me a flat look. He turns to Chase who gives us an amused look.

"You mister Alpha, you do know, your mate right here needs Jesus, right?" He says.

"Don't I already know? I do have to see her everyday." He says jokingly.

I stick my tongue out and huff, I do not need Jesus. I'm holy enough aren't I? Whatever, I should just say it.

"Axel's mate spilled our Packs secret." I blurt out. Both heads snap to look at me.

"What secret?" David asks confused.

"You know, the one that you told me." I say.

"Ohh!" He says realization on his face

"What did she say? Who else knows about this secret?" He says, anger showing in his eyes.

"That I'm the Moon Goddess's daughter." I reply.

He curses under his breath, just as he's about to say something,  somebody knocks on the door.

"Come in!" Chase orders, his tone of voice serious.

Axel enters with his slut of a mate behind him.

"Hey I was wondering if-" Chase cuts him off.

"Close the door and lock it. Now." He says using his Alpha voice. Uh-oh, his wolf is coming out.

Axel closes the door, while his mate looks down at the floor, as if her shoes are the most interesting thing in the world.

'Ha! The most interesting thing in the world is that she's a wanted STD. Interesting, am I right?' I can practically see my wolf giving me a wolfy smirk.

Finally she looks up, and I give her the most deadly glare I can give her at the moment. Her eyes widens and she looks down once again. Whimp.

Chase clears his throat and looks at Axel's mate with hatred and disgust.

"Why are we giving my mate nasty stares?" Axel asks clearly angry at us for 'disrespecting' his mate. Soon, all that anger will all be for STD over there.

"Oh, well your mate here has done something that has put our pack in danger, and the Moon Goddess angry. Did she tell you what she did?" I say with a raised eyebrow staring at Axel as he narrows his eyes down to his mate.

"What did she do?" He says.

"Can I do the honors, Christina?" Chase asks, clearly enjoying this. I give him a nod, and he smirks. He turns to the couple with a stone-faced expression.

"She has-"

"I told other wolves outside from this pack that, that whore is the Moon Goddess's daughter! Alright? I did it!" Alina, Axel's mate, says finally speaking up.

"Why did you do it?" He says his voice cracking.

"I was jealous! She has everything. She has everyone wrapped around her finger, and I don't." She replies glaring at everybody. I snort at what she said.

"You still shouldn't have done that, I thought you were better than that. You said that you changed, but I see nothing different." He says disgusted.

"Axel, please! I'm sorry." Alina sobs, tears streaming down her face.

"All this time, you were lying to me? Did you lie to me that time when you said you were going to Jen's sleepover?" His voice calm. This is better than a movie.

"Y-yes, I can explain." Alina whimpers, her face pale.

"Bullshit, I want you to pack your bags and get out. I don't want to see you in my room anymore, you better be out in an hour," Axel says glaring holes at the back of her head.

"Chase, can I talk to you? You too Christina." What's up with people using my whole name. I nod silently, and give David a small smile.

"I'll be in the kitchen, eating." He smiles cheekily, and leaves.

When we hear the door close, we turn to Axel.

"Well?" Chase asks.

"I want to break the mate bond, between me and Alina. Permanently." Axel says.

I did not see that coming.
