I immediately went to the parking lot after my club meeting. Gosh! I made him wait for about an hour already!

I saw his silver volvo along the right wing of the lot. I ran towards it with a pounding heart. I don't want us to fight again this time.

"I'm so sorry babe! Na extend ng thirty minutes yung meeting." Ika ko nang nakapasok sa kotse niya.

He remained silent. His right hand was on the steering wheel and the other is leaning against the window. He never threw me a look.

Not again Jacy!

"Baby..." I uttered. I tried to reach his face pero iniwas niya lamang ito.

"I'm so sorry for making you wait again. Hindi ko kasi maiwan yung meeting. Alam mo namang ako ang council head kaya hindi ako pwede---

"Enough Jacy." He cut me off. His voice was firm and as cold as ice that sent me shivers.

"Ma-matthew..."

"I'm tired of this. Lagi na lang akong ikalawa sa mga priorities mo. When will I be your first?!" 

His voice sounded so frustrated and hurt. Tikom ang bibig niyang napatingin sa akin.

I can see a mixture if emotions; anger, frustration, pain, sadness.

"Ma-matt.. you know how important school for me is! Alangan namang iwan ko yung mga responsibilidad ko sa council! University week is just days ahead, I am heck responsible for all of it because I am the council president! Could you just please understand that?!"

I am also frustrated. Bakit hindi niya ko maintindihan? I am still making things work for us! Kahit na nahihirapan na ko sa schedule ko ay binibigyan ko pa rin siya ng oras!

I can hear his labored breathing. Halatang galit na galit siya. His veins are protruding sa higpit ng pagkakakapit niya sa manibela.

"Understand?!" He scoffed. "Alin ba sa mga rason mo ang hindi ko inintindi Jacy?! I am understanding everything kahit nasasaktan ako! Boyfriend mo ko! I also need you! Hindi sa lahat ng oras uunahin mo yang deadlines mo! Paano naman ako?!"

My heart's aching. Akala ko ba naiintindihan niya ko? I thought he wanted me to do this because it's my dream! This is what I want! I thought he's supporting me! Bakit nagkakaganito kami ngayon?!

"You wanted me to do this, right? You said you'd support me!" I exclaimed.

"I am supporting you Jacy! Hell, hindi ko titiisin lahat ng pang-iindian mo sa akin kung hindi kita sinusuportahan! Can't you see my point?! Oras mo lang ang kailangan ko!"

"I am giving you my time kahit pagod na pagod nako Matt! Dahil mahal kita! Pero sana maintindihan mo rin na hindi ko pwedeng pabayaan ang mga nakaatas sakin! You're lucky dahil graduate kana! You're working in your own company! You can ditch work anytime you want! It's not the same way for me. But I'm making things up for you. I am making things up for us dahil ayokong magkagulo tayo. But why do things turn out wrong?"
