Yellowpaw sat beside Fallingpaw as they shared a fish from earlier.

"It's a lovely moon tonight" mewed Fallingpaw as she took a small mouthful of fish savouring the taste.

"We will leave after this. We needto find Smokebreeze and Timberkit!" Mewed Yellowpaw urgently clawing away at the dirt under her paws impatiently.

The moon had risen to the highest peakin the sky. Yellowpaw gently tapped Fallingpaw on the head as she slept waking her up. The two quietly creep out of their nests and into Cliffclan's clearing. They carefully climb over the fallen tree bridge and go towards the recently discovered hole and crawl into it.

The buds of the flowers were sealed as the sea breeze howled and hissed. Yellowpaw raced across the meadow with Fallingpaw a fox length behind. The two reached the forest in no time. The endless squawking of an owl could be heard from behind the two sisters; uncertainty prickled in their bellies as they made their way to the edge of the border.

"What way now" Fallingpaw's meow was fainter than a mouse's squeak as she looked over the unfamiliar territory.

"Forward." Yellowpaw pushed on ahead of her sister, trying to hold her fur together as she panicked stepping over the border. Fallingpaw caught up to her sister within a heartbeat.

The sun slowly rose behind the backs of Fallingpaw and Yellowpaw as they continued padding into the heart of the forest. Strange sounds could be heard over the horizon.Yellowpaw's belly growled with hunger.

"I'm starting to have second thoughts on leaving the camp Yellowpaw. What if we meet rogues! Or badgers?" Worry filled Fallingpaw's mew.

"Don't worry we know how to fight! And we are staying close to the shore. There won't be any badgers." Yellowpaw meowed as she stayed close to Fallingpaw as they padded along the soft sand.

"What is...that?" Mewed Fallingpaw as she took cover behind a dune.

"I have no clue..." Whispered  Yellowpaw as she looked at the tall thing.

"They look very goofy," remarked Fallingpaw.

"I think we should go around them?Maybe if we don't bother them, they won't hurt us" questioned Yellowpaw as she raced across the hot sand taking multiple breaks behind the sand dunes. Fallingpaw stayed close to the hot sand burying herself in the sand making her feel less hot.

"I could really go for some fish right now, aren't you hungry?" Whispered Fallingpaw

"I'm always hungry." Stated Yellowpaw as they finally got away from the weird creatures.

Yellowpaw raced into the forest stalking her way through the tall grass she hears a vole; it was grooming its fur unaware of Yellowpaw's scent. Quickly and sloppily Yellowpaw pounced on the vole killing it.

Fallingpaw moved some branches covering a flowering bush protecting them. "Does it look secure enough?" Questioned Fallingpaw as she sagged onto the dirt yawning. "I could sleep for a Moon."

"Looks good, I caught a vole"stated Yellowpaw as she dropped it at her sister's paws "you can take the first few bites and the first sleep. We will take turns looking out for danger."

"Sure" Fallingpaw took two mouthfuls muffling the sound of her mew as she got comfortable in the bush falling into a deep slumber.

Blood curling yowls sent distress into Fallingpaw's stomach, the smell of unfamiliar territory sent herheart a flutter. Hard, black ground rumbled making her stance unstable. Terror reflected off her eyes as she saw it. A paw with claws unsheathed slashed down Fallingpaw's flank; warm blood spurted out painting her skin red. Fallingpaw staggered to the ground gasping for air as her life flashed before her eyes. A cold paw prodded her in the head repeatedly getting hard till it was a full cuff around the ear. "Get up Door Mouse" hissed Yellowpaw "it's your time to guard."

Fallingpaw rose to her paws and did a quick stretch, the light pitter of rain flowed to the ground. The thundering cracks of lightning illuminated the night sky, a heartbeat later Fallingpaw took cover from the stinging rain under the shrub. "Looks like you aren't going to be sleeping" yowled Fallingpaw as she tried to compete with the rain and lightning. Yellowpaw gave a small nod in acknowledgement.

The sun was high up in the clouds. The trees slowly thinned out. "There isn't much prey around here"mewed Fallingpaw as she sluggishly walked behind Yellowpaw.

"What in Starclan is that!?" Yellowpaw ran up beside it.

"It's so shiny, what is that smell??" Exclaimed Fallingpaw.

"It's prey! I'm so hungry that I could eat anything Yellowpaw raced into the contraption Fallingpaw followed behind curious of what prey it held inside it.

With a massive shuttering slam the weird thing trapped the two inside. Fallingpaw shook in terror as she tried opening it but it was sealed shut "Oh Starclan please save us before we starve to death" she mumbled under her breath.

"Mouse Dung!" Exclaimed Yellowpaw as she sat beside the mouth watering piece of food. "Atleast we have that bit of food? It smells so good!"

"Yellowpaw we don't have water!Starclan knows how long we will be here" panicked Fallingpaw as she sat down on her trembling tail, "it's getting colderYellowpaw, we'll freeze or dry of thirst!"

"I don't want to die!" yowled Yellowpaw as she started slipping her paw through the gap of the shiny cave scuffing up the dirt alongside them.

The chilling breeze cut through the wiry thin trees, and through the contraption that held Fallingpaw and Yellowpaw, the moon was high joining to be one with the Silverpelt, the two were soundly asleep bundled together keeping each other warm from the dew covered grass that laid below them.
