Befriending the Enemy

Seriously, tho

Befriending your enemies in Overwatch is so satisfying.

I've been playing as Mercy a lot recently. On Eichenwalde, I walked right into a room that had an enemy Soldier: 76 in it. I about shot him and he started firing at me.

Then I had the crazy idea of saying hello to him.

I did.

He ceased fire and waved back.

We started to just use emotes and wave until one of my team members called for healing.

That was my first time befriending the enemy. (｡◕‿‿◕｡)

I made a goal to start befriending as many enemies as I could in Overwatch.

My favorite one so far is when I was playing as Junkrat on King's Row (Defense) and the payload was only a few meters away from the finish. I had the lounging emote so I laid on top of the cart.

The enemy Roadhog came up on the cart, waved, and crouched beside me. Sadly my team killed him. After he died, the enemy Torbjörn hopped up on the cart and sat down with me.

As their eyes met, the Aussie junker made a seductive face to the dwarf.

I'm so sorry for the sudden seductiveness.

Lesson of the day?

Laying down will make the enemy team not shoot you.
