The next morning I woke up feeling empty. There is nothing to do I couldn't work it was my day off. Dally went to go check on Johnny and Pony well they were all the way in windrixville. Tim was hanging out with the gang getting them amped up for the rumble. Ever since Pony and Johnny left the socs wanted to rumble with us greasers. Its all over town. I don't know what to think. I never wanted to come down to this where every creature had to fight for their right for this town. I wish things will be normal. Everyone stayed on their own side. Tim says he wants me nowhere near that Rumble and told me to keep Angela locked up. This is going to be the most dangerous Rumble of them all. It's still a skin-to-skin rumble no weapons or anything involved. But it's not just one gang vs another gang. It's socs against greasers the most biggest clans of them all. I get up and head over to the Curtis house. There's nothing to do around my house it was completely clean and it was too quiet for me to stay in it. It was driving me crazy with everything on my mind. Soon as I get to the Curtis house Kathy meets me on the porch. She gives me a light hug as we walk inside. Darry comes out from around the corner.

"Where's Dallas at?" Darry asked crossing his arms.

"He told me he was busy with something today. I asked what but he told me not to worry about it." I shove my thumbs in my pocket look to the ground. I tried to look like I was lost or didn't have a clue what was going on. Darry nodded his head and went back to the kitchen to wash the dishes. Kathy and I sit on the couch and talk about the rumble.

"So your brothers are coming?" She asked.

"Tim is, Curly is at Reformatory. They said I can't pay off his bails anymore." I lean back into the couch.

"Sorry to hear that. I'm sure he'll be fine. He is a Shepard after all." She elbows my arm and giggles.

"Yeah, he'll be fine. Its just six months." I elbow her back as she pushes me down on the ground and get on top of me.

"Kathy what the hell?" I chuckle.

"Tap out." She grabs my leg and pulls it back behind me so I couldn't get up or get on top of her. I remember when we were kids we used to wrestle each other to the ground just like the boys did. It's just we haven't done this in a very long time.

"Alright Kat. You wanna fair fight or you going to get this win by cheating?" I smirked. She gets off me and take her shoes off as I do the same thing. We circle each other around the living room and look at the other. This is a tough situation and wrestling is pretty rough but we're just girls trying to have fun giggling.

She tries to tackle me to the ground but I move out the way pushing her into the couch. I moved away swiftly and smirk at her. She tries to take me down again as I move out the way and grab her leg pulling her down on the ground as I climb on top of her.

"You ass." She yells out.

I tried to grab some sort of body part to hold her down but she takes her foot and kicked me down. She gets on top of me locking my arm behind my back and sitting on top of me.

"Are those fighting words Kat?" I rolled out from under her and take her leg bending it behind, taking her two arms and resting them behind her ankle.

"You smartass." She grits her teeth. There was no way she could get out from this.

"What the hell is going on in here?" The gang asked. Darry, two-bit, Steve and Soda were standing over top of us trying to break up our wrestling match. Two-bit grabs Kathy as Steve grabs me.

"We were wrestling." Kathy fixes her shirt.

"Wrestling?" Two-bit looks at us.

"Yeah, we needed to blow off steam." I shrugged my shoulders.

"So who won?" Kathy looks at the guys. They look a little taken back and speechless. We knew they were watching the whole entire time.

"Jokes guys you are suppose to laugh." I chuckled and hugged Kathy. I feel like myself again. Kathy did bring back the old Lola. Just then the phone rings. Darry goes up to the phone and answered it in a serious matter. He hung up right away and walks back into the living room looking at us.

"They found them." Darry says. Oh no. Please tell me it is ok. Please tell me Johnny and Pony are okay nothing bad happened to them. How could they find them it was a Shepard hiding spot?

"There was a church on fire in windrixville. Dallas was with Pony and Johnny. They ran into the church to save kids that were in it."

"Oh god, no." I mumbled to myself.

"Lola?" Two-bit looks at me.

"Its a church. It shouldn't have burned down though. It's old and abandoned no one should have been in there." I back up to the door.

"They're at the hospital. They said one of them wasn't looking too well. The other one is being checked out by burn marks and one is sitting in the waiting room. They didn't give me specifically who was where." Darry says as he grabs the car keys. Soda runs to his room to get his shoes.

"You can ride with us Lola." Darry says as he goes out the door. I mumble a thank you as I walk out the door right behind him. I get in the backseat of the car and shut the door, waiting for Soda to come out the house. He runs out the house and gets into the car as Darry drives off. We get to the hospital and go up the elevator. On to the second floor the first we see is Ponyboy in the waiting room. Soda runs up and hugs him tightly. Pony was now blonde with black smoke and dust all covered up his body. Must have been from the smoke. Darry runs up to Ponyboy and hugs him. The three boys hug each other closely then talk to each other. Darry started crying, that's first time  I've ever seen him cry. The boys pull away from each other as Pony looks at me.
