Two days had pasted since the whole questioning by the cops thing. Curly, Angela and Tim still think I know where the boys are at. The whole cop thing made it worse and they found out by Darry. Not only were my siblings in shock but proud of me. I held my ground and didn't break. They knew I had the fear of cops and the only thing that kept me from breaking was the boys and Dally. As I was cleaning up the house, Dally came walking in. He walks up giving me a kiss and smiles.

"You wanna go visit the Curtis house? Figure out what they think?" He ask.

"Sure. Hopefully it wont be as bad as last time." I sigh.

We walk back to the Curtis house and everyone stares at us. Dally sits on the couch and smirks as I stand there in the middle of the room. Everyone was here but Soda.

"What happened?" Kathy asked.

"They questioned us. Some person said that we were the last to see Johnny and Pony." I mumble while sitting on the couch next to Dally.

"Yeah, we know you know where they are. Hiding them is just going to make things worse." Steve snarls.

"Would you rather them go to jail? We aren't hiding them. If we did then we would be there with them in stead of being pulled in for questioning." I said angrily.

"Whatever." Steve walks into the kitchen. Darry stand in front of Dally and I. I knew this hurt him the most.

"Dally, Lola please. Just let me know if they are alright. That's all I want to know. Is ponyboy ok?" I can see the concerned look in his eyes. Darry might be hard as a rock and unemotional brother but it's hard for him to show his emotions when he's under a lot of stress or too much. Pony never got that.

"I'm sure he's find. Kid has a brain." Dally answers. Soda walks out of his room with a tear stained face. We didn't say anything but acted normal.

"Yeah." Darry scoffs.

"Anyway, what are you two doing here?" Two-bit ask.

"Timothy and Curly are doing their own thing. Angela is hanging out with friends. Nobody knows where Johnny and Pony are. Buck's place is closed today. Where else is there to go?" Dally chuckles.

Within seconds Dally, Soda, Steve and two-bit began a game of poker on the kitchen table. Kathy and I sat on the couch and stared at the TV. Darry went and took a nap in his bedroom.

"Got any cash sweets?" Two-bit walks in the room kissing Kathy's cheek.

"Nope." She giggles.

"Please?" He begs.

"You owe me." She takes her wallet out handing him a few dollars.

"Tonight." He kisses her check two times then runs back to the kitchen.

"I'm gonna stomp ya." I could hear two-bit tease.

"So," Kathy turns to me.

"So?" I look at her. What is she trying to do? Make conversation?

"I miss hanging out with you. It seems like ever since you've been with Dally, you've changed." She says quietly.

"Yeah, I have but its for the better not worse. I was weak and I never use my head for anything. Now I can stand up for myself, I can hold people off in the fight. I can get myself out of situations that my old self couldn't. Kathy this new me, its the reason why I am alive." Kathy looks at me a little unease.

"I just miss the Lola I use to hang out with. The one that threw popcorn at the back of peoples heads." We both laugh.

"That Lola is still hear, somewhat. I just toughened up is all. I'm not getting jumped, taken away or touched like that again." Kathy opens her mouth to say something but the phone rings. Darry gets up from his bedroom and heads to the phone answering it. As if the other boys were not going to get it.

"Lola, its for you." Darry sighs as I get up and walk to the phone.

"Thanks." I mumble looking at Dally who stopped playing to look at me.

"Fold." He tells the guys at the table.

"Hello?" I say.

"Lola that's you?" I could hear Tim's voice on the other end. He was out of breath.

"Yeah, its me whats going on?" I huff out.

"Its Curly. He robbed a liquor store." That's all he had to say. My mind went a hundred different thinking patterns before I could say a word.

"Lola?" Tim calls for me.

"Yeah, yeah where are you? Where is he? Is there an open window for me to get him?" My voice got louder, I didn't mean for it to but I was worried. Dally gets up from the table and walks to my side.

"Its too late they already got him. I'm heading over to the jail, I'll swing by and pick you up."

"Sure." I hang up the phone. Everyone was staring at me.

"Its Curly." I look down at the ground.

"He got arrested. I'm gonna head over to the jail." I breath out.

"Fine, lets go." Dally says but I shake my head.

"No, you can stay here. I'll be fine. Tim is on his way here to get me."

"Alright." He says looking back at the phone. There was a car honking outside. By the sound of it, I could tell it was Tim.

"I'll see you guys later." I shout to everyone as I head out the door.

"See ya Lola." Everyone shouts back. Dally follows me outside as I get to the car. Tim pokes his head out the window nodding his head at Dally as he does the same back. Angela was sitting in the back seat with her feet propped up.

"Just be careful. Let me know what's going on." Dally looks around outside.

"I will. You be careful too. I'll see you later." I kiss his lips then get in the car. Tim doesn't give me time to shut the car door as he slams his foot on the gas.
