It was a normal day. The girls and I are at lunch and guess what the topic is? THEM. Sometimes it gets annoying when they talk about crushes. Not because I don’t like their Boyfriends-Crushes (except for Sebastian) but to tell the truth Im jealous. Jealous because they are all happily in love while im here still trying to find one guy, I don’t consider a jerk. Trust me it’s extremely hard. At lunch all I heard was blahblahblahb…Sebastian this…Nicolas that…Did you see Matt’s new…Blahblahblah. Don’t get me wrong. I love these girls and usually I would pay attention but something was off about today. I don’t know I was distracted. The four of us were sitting there in the second floor of the main building as usual but it didn’t feel normal. It was like someone was watching me. Weird. Nobody ever really cared about what I did; no one started rumors about me, unless they didn’t know who they were messing with. Why? I would personally go and make sure the person never does it again. Don’t take this the wrong way because im nice to people, I like making new friends and everything, but the one thing I can’t stand are people who attract attention but making up stupid things (also bullies). I had a problem with this one girl, her name was Veronica. Basically I hated her, for many reasons actually. I still have some not so good feelings towards her even though she has changed.
Veronica was a girl that judged everything that everyone did. If she did you a favor she expected one in return. She was a first class bitch. I swear I had never met someone who I hated that much. Then, one day I actually responded when she said something and the whole class turned against her telling her everything that she did wrong to her face. It was amazing. Anyways I think she got the message because like I said she changed.
Back to today, I turned around to see who it was that was staring at me and found a pair of brown eyes looking up at me from the ground. He looked like he was trying to figure me out. Weird. He was tall, dark brown hair, and light brown eyes. He seemed to be lost in thought. That was until I yelled at him.
“Hey you! The boy with dark hair!”
He snapped out of his “trance” and looked at me for real.
“Yes?” his voice was captivating.
“Don’t do that”
“Do what?” He smirked. GOD I HATE BOYS!
I smirked back. “Don’t look at me like you want to snog with me”
“No can do, I do want to babe”
I growled. “Oh really? Then go find another girl to snog, cause im not a slut and DON’T CALL ME BABE”
He just laughed and walked away. WHO DOES THAT?!
I turned around to find three pairs of eyes looking at me.
“What was that all about?” asked Alex.
“Ehh… nothing just a stupid new kid that thought he could “seduce me” (I made the actual quotations with my hands) by looking at me.”
“Ooo Sammy’s got a crush on the new kid!” said Caro.
“Shut Up! I do not! The guy is a pain in the ass and I have only seen him once! I don’t know what I’ll do if I have to put up with him until summer vacation!”
“Ok whatever you say Sammy” Emi winked. Seriously are they that desperate for me?
“So I have to go… Nicolas is probably looking for me! Bye girls! See you last period Emi!” Alex yelled, while walking away to go snog Nicolas. I shook my head, THAT WAS NOT A GOOD IMAGE.
“Bye Alex!” we all yelled.
She walked away leaving the three of us standing there.
“So, I heard this tenth grader Kevin is having a “welcome back” dance, Ready to crash it girls?” Caro said. She loves parties.
