Chapter 3: Can this day get any worse?

I turned around to see Matt, behind me. Great. Just great.

“Um… Hi, Matt right?” I said and smiled. I knew who he was cause of Caro, but no reason he should know that ;)

“I know you know who I am Samantha, Caro has talked about you a lot” He sat down on the swing next to me. Ok then… I will have a talk with that girl!

“Ok so… not trying to sound mean or anything, but why are you talking to me?” I never talked to people that were in 10th 11th or 12th literally, unless they were in the cheerleading team, which means I especially don’t talk to the guys!

“Oh yeah, it’s just I thought you could help me with something… it’s really important… it’s about Caro, she said you were good at helping and giving advice and I can’t really tell any of my friends this…” He was about to continue but I stopped him.

“Stop, your ranting” I smiled and sighed.

“What’s up?”

“So you’ll help me?”

“Sure… what is it Matt?”

“It’s that you know I saw Caro in the library and we kissed and so then…”

“WAIT YOU WHAT?!?!” She had not told me they kissed!!!!!

“We kissed…”

“Ok sorry continue, it’s just she hadn’t told me that little detail.”

“Ok so then at the party I broke up with my girlfriend for her, I realized I didn’t love her anymore, but now my ex is trying to find out who I plan on replacing her with and I think she is on to us she slapped Caro last night.” OMG how much did I miss?!

“Shit… ok so tell her to stop that’s the first thing to do but the thing is if she knows about you too she could blackmail you… or Caro you know since you’re a senior and she’s an…”

“I got it”

“Yeah… so be careful, you too have to be a lot more careful, and you have to come out soon. It will be easier if you do before she finds out.”

“I guess you’re right, but if we come out and tell the whole school my whole reputation will go down the drain.”

“Do you really care more about your reputation?! If you really care about Caro you will forget about your freaking reputation!”

“but im the captain of the soccer team and head of the student body if I go out with her I will lose that, everyone will think of me as a player for dating an 8th grader”

“It’s your choice Matt, you either tell her you care more about your reputation than her, or I will, unless you change your mind and come out… I have to go, my brother is probably waiting for me at home, bye Matt”

I didn’t have any messages, so Daniel must still be with his new “Girl” Lol. Ok what to do now. All I want is some peace and quiet!!! I would try the beach but were in Ohio right now. I miss Florida, I LOVE the beach, oh well there was this lake not too far from here, I guess im going there. It was sunny today maybe I could actually relax.

I walked there finishing my drink and sitting in front of the lake in the sand. Let me explain, this part was outside the city about like a 20 minute walk and so there’s this park in the forest, a trail I guess. Then there’s this giant lake where people fish and part of it has a small beach and kids can swim and there’s tables and everything and the sand is really soft. That’s where I am.

I sat down and took out “Burned” by Sara Shepard, yes from the Pretty Little Liars series. I LOVE it!!! ;) Finally Peace and Quiet, nobody else was here luckily only a few people fishing in the distance. It was calm until around 3pm, people started filing in and playing at the beach. I wasn’t planning to leave but nothing to do. I sighed; I only got an hour of calmness. I got up and was about to walk away when I got hit in the head with a volleyball. Grrr. I kept walking, do not yell at whoever threw it, no they can’t just hit you like that! Stop stop. I kept walking trying to control myself. I hate my life, my headache still wasn’t gone and now my head hurts even more!
