Sammy POV
I nervously picked out a dress for tonight. Me nervous? This boy had me going crazy. After everything that had gone wrong this weekend I couldn't wait to get a few hours alone with Luke. After getting dressed, I put on converse and a little bit of makeup, and grabbed my purse as Luke rang the doorbell.
I heard my brother open the door as I ran downstairs.
"Hey Luke" I said smiling. He was dressed in a tux.
"Hey Sammy, you look beautiful"
I laughed "thanks you don't look too bad yourself" I winked. My brother slightly glared at me.
"I want her back by 11 Luke, not a minute later" I rolled my eyes.
"Yes sir" he said, smiling at me.
Daniel looked at me and smiled. "If you need anything sis, just call"
"I'll be fine Dan I swear. Now bye" I grabbed Luke's hand, knowing it would irk my brother "We have a date to get to"
I could feel Daniel glare at the back of my head as we walked out but I ignored him. He was just being over protective. Especially because of what happened last Thursday...
Luke opened my door and we got into his car, he started driving.
"Sorry about my brother, he can't be a bit overprotective."
"Yeah I can tell, I don't mind though... I know im going to be like that when my little sis gets herself a boyfriend."
I laughed "I didn't know you had a sister"
"Well I don't really like to talk about my family in general, but she's awesome"
"Ditto... my family sucks"
"That's one thing we can agree on" I smiled.
"So where exactly are we going?" I asked.
"It's a secret" Luke said smirking. "Im not telling"
I pouted "Oh c'mon! I hate surprises"
"That's too bad then because I am not telling you"
I slouched "That's not fair!"
Luke laughed looking at me from the corner of his eyes "You're going to like it, promise Sammy" He reached out and grabbed my hand smiling.
"Fine" I said.
We rode in silence until we arrived at a very elegant restaurant, in front of a lake. I got out of the car with Luke and looked at him in shock.
"You are fucking kidding me, Luke this is like the best restaurant in town! It costs a shitload of money to eat here, I cannot let you buy my meal."
"Too bad, im paying whether you like it or not."
"How can you even afford this?! And you're not playing fair!" I complained
"My parents have a bit of money you could say... it's not great though" I nodded. My parents had loads of money they just didn't share it with me or my brother.
"Oh ok"
Luke wrapped his arm around my waist bringing me close as we walked inside.
"Hello, do you have a reservation?" The man at the front desk asked.
"Yes, Luke Parker"
The waiter smiled. "Right this way, my name is Bryan and I will be your waiter, this evening."
He led us up to a private balcony, where there was one single table set for two.
We both sat down and Bryan passed us our menus.
