Sebastian POV
The second Emily started running, Jake didn’t hesitate to follow. You don’t know how badly I wanted to go after her but I couldn’t, and that was the worst part. My mind didn’t even process what had just happened. Were we over? Had she broken up with me because of something I did to protect her? It seemed almost impossible.
As soon as they were just little dots in the distance, I screamed pulling out my hair. “What the fuck did I do to deserve this?!”
Jake wasn’t supposed to know, nobody was and it wasn’t because of my reputation. In fact I would rather be the least popular guy at school than lose Em but… I just couldn’t tell her the real reason.
I realized she had left her bike here so I decided to take it to her house; I walked towards it just dropping the bike and then making my way back to my house. I didn’t live too far away so I just walked. I had no idea what to do. I tried calling her but she wouldn’t answer so in the end I just texted. Once….twice…three times… and no answer from her.

Em please call me, text me anything… im sorry ok? I just… there’s no excuse but I swear I will tell you. For real. Just please let me know you’re ok.

When I didn’t get a reply I frowned deeper. I didn’t want to lose her. And the fact that Jake went after her and not me… it killed me.
Thinking of Jake made me realize something. Jake was the biggest player at our school, probably in our state. He never dated anyone. He was lower than I was before meeting Emily, and most important… he always took away the girl I had my eyes set on…

I smiled at the beautiful new girl in my chemistry class. It was her first day and I couldn’t wait to show her around, something just pulled me to her.
I was currently sitting behind my desk next to Jake.
“Dude you’re kidding me right?” He said.
“What the fuck are you talking about?” I asked.
“That girl” he pointed at her. “Would never go for a guy like you, back off, your probably scaring her”
I scoffed. “Yeah right good try Jake but this one is mine” I said making it clear.
“Of course she is, just wait, she is going to break your heart bro and im going to be here to tell you I told you so”
“Whatever man” I realized the seat next to her was empty. “Well got to go make a move” I patted his shoulder “see ya Jake”
“Don’t say I didn’t tell you so” he yelled as I moved to sit next to the beautiful lady.
“Hey I’m Sebastian” I said smiling at her.
“Im Kalie, nice to meet you”
“Nice to meet you too”
___________FAST FORWARD TO THREE MONTHS LATER____________
I was going to Kalie’s house to surprise her, it was our three month anniversary and I wanted to take her out for dinner. I don’t think I have ever been so in love.
I walked in using the key she gave me and put the roses down on the table. It didn’t sound like her parents were home but I heard grunting upstairs…
