Chapter 4: LUKE

I didn’t even bother waking up and going to school today, this wasn’t something I did often, but I was planning on ditching, I was not about to go to school and have to deal with Luke today, I was tired of it all. I got up around 11am to see a note from my brother saying he wasn’t coming home early, and texts from everyone, literally. I looked at each one and started answering knowing they might kill me if I didn’t.

I didn’t check my phone again but Luke’s message was annoying! I wasn’t even going to do something productive today! Just go out and walk and maybe write and play guitar or something I don’t know, I just needed to relax. Forgetting about the text I stepped into the shower and got dressed then I walked downstairs grabbing my cell and IPod then walked to the same Starbucks as yesterday. Don’t judge I love the place. I ordered my regular and sat down on the table, nobody could annoy me today everyone was at school, I kept reminding myself. I breathed and drank my coffee silently walking towards the park headphones in my ears.  Rest stop by Matchbox 20 came on and I immediately started singing to it. I sat down leaning on the tree and sat watching the couple of people at the park. I was so happy to finally getting some peace and quiet. I closed my eyes, tired from everything that happened this weekend. I must have fallen asleep because the next thing I knew I was laying with my head on someone’s lap and I felt someone looking at me. I didn’t even open my eyes, I didn’t care he was comfortable. I smirked.

“Do you watch every girl sleep?”

“No.. not really” That voice. Shit. I knew that voice. I sat up abruptly. Please tell me it wasn’t him. I looked to my left, sadly It was him. I didn’t even have the strength to fight, I was too tired, I slept like what 3 hours last night?
