The rage,
The guilt,
The pain;
All became unbearable.
After you left,
Dust in the dusk,
Fog all around.
Mist in my eyes
Turned to haze,
Everything so unclear.
Heart of stone.
Soul of charcoal.
Flesh as soft as silk.
The more my emotions rise,
The more blood I loose;
It drains me,
Just like you did.
Dawn never came;
You turned everything dark.
Nothing is visible.
Happiness was lost,
Completely vanished...
But maybe not!
Another was found;
A new source.
My fountain of youth.
The clouds roll away,
And the sun came out again.
Light shining bright,
Darkness turned to faded fear.
Joy is reborn.
You were long forgotten,
Unable to hold me down;
Forever glee again.
The weight was lifted.
No longer a drag on my shoulders.
Although,
All that is good;
The rage still burns on,
The guilt diminished,
And the pain is never gone.
