INGREDIENTS :
▶Ripe tomatoes(chopped) - 10 (big)
▶Dates (chopped) - 10
▶Sugar - 1/2 cup
▶Water - 1/2 cup
▶Cardamom - 2TO TEMPER :
▶Ghee - 1 tbsp
▶Cashews (chopped) - 1 tbsp
▶Raisins (I didnt use it) - 1 tbspHOW I COOK :
1.Add sugar and water in a heavy bottomed pan and let it boil until the sugar
dissolves.
2.Add chopped tomatoes,dates and cardamom in to sugar syrup.
3.Let it boil in low temperature and stir it well to avoid scorching in between.
4.After 10 minutes,it dries up and comes into a jam consistency.Switch off.
5.Add ghee in a separate pan and add cashews and raisins.
6.Let it turn golden.Switch off and pour it over the jam.
7.Give a quick stir.Let it cool and store in clean,dry bottles.NOTES :
1.You can deseed the tomatoes before adding to the sugar syrup.
2.Do not add more water as the tomato itself oozes more water.Yours Sweet and Spicy,
