Ryan

"Come on baby, you need to wake up," Axel whispered in my ear.

As persuasive as he may be, I am determined to stay in this bed.

Axel made sure I didn't get much sleep last night. I smiled internally at the memory. He pressed his naked torso to my back. "Ryan, we are going to be late." He kissed my neck.

"It's Saturday, there is nothing to be late for," I grumbled half asleep.

"We have plans."

"Correction, you have plans. The only plan I have is to stay right here and sleep."  I yawned.

Rolling me over he hovered over me. I kept my eyes closed. I was not giving in.

"Come on little leprechaun..." He whispered in my ear.

His breath fanned against my face, eliciting shivers down my body where they pooled in my belly. His lips trailed from my jaw down my neck. I let out an involuntary moan when he nipped at my collarbone. My traitorous eyes fluttered open.

"Well if that's what you wanted to do, why didn't you say so in the first place."

I pressed my lips to his. Our lips moved in sync and he lowered himself so he pressed me into the soft mattress.

"You are distracting me." He smirked against my lips. "Unfortunately this is not what I had in mind, well at least not until tonight."

Axel kissed my forehead and sat up, taking me with him. I huffed in disappointment.

"Asshat, what plans do you have that could possibly involve you waking me up at six in the morning on a Saturday?" I grumbled and crawled off his lap.

I laid back down, pulling the covers over my head.

"I need another hour, just give me another hour." I pleaded.

"No can do, baby. We're meeting everyone at Wood Port Diner in an hour."

He smacked my ass playfully.  He just had to say 'Wood Port Diner'. Just the thought of all you can eat waffles made my stomach grumble. "We need to shower and pack first."

"Pack?" I ripped the covers off my head. "For?" I propped myself on my elbows. My interest peeked.

"We're going to my family's lake house for spring break."

After a quick shower and throwing a bag together I was led to the kitchen by the smell of coffee. Axel was still upstairs packing.  The guy took forever to pack. He was a bit OCD when it came to rolling his clothes up neatly and packing his bag like a puzzle. Here I literally just threw a bunch of clothes in a duffle, though I aleast kept them folded, unlike Quade's habit of balling them up and cramming them in.

"Hey, darlin'" The Warden poured us both a cup of energy.

I haven't seen him all week. I was at Taylor's, then I had locked myself in the bedroom to study, and the rest of the week he was stuck at the station until late. And he had his hands full with drunken' high school and college kids now that the weather was warm enough for bonfires down on the beach.

"Good morning" I gave him a quick hug and grabbed the cup he handed me.

"I was hoping that you would clear something up for me."

What's that?" I asked.

"I saw Sloane at the store yesterday with a banged up chin, bruised wrist and knuckles. She avoided my questions when I asked her. Do you know what happened? Or why the guys look like they got into a fight?"
