When Love and Eternity Collide (A Carlisle Cullen and Twilight Fan Fiction)

This is my very first Fan Fiction so please go easy on the comments :) All things Twilight belong to the wonderful Stephanie Meyer :)

Prologue.

People may see me as a monster. I just see it as making the best of what I have been cursed with. I may not be human but the emotions are definitely still there. I never chose this life. Never wanted it. 

When I was human, everyone would watch me as I walked down to the market for my mother. I was shallow enough to admit to myself that I was the most beautiful person to have waled the earth.

A particular group of three men would watch me everyday. As the months progressed, they started to follow me. Around the same time, my family were dying. One by One. I felt like I was losing everything I had. Towards the end, it was just me. Soon after my beloved husband came to pass, my body started changing. I was pregnant. I had my dream, but no one to share it with. 

I went through those nine months alone. Only leaving the house to go to the market. The three men were still following me but a lot closer than they used to.

I knew who they were. They were scientists. Experimenting on people to create the perfect immortal. Indestructible beyond belief. They only used people who had nothing left to live for. People like me. But there was no way that I would kill my baby.

After I gave birth I gave the baby a name. Elizabeth Porter. I gave her away so she could live and carry on the Porter blood line.

Only then did I give in to the scientists requests. I vowed that I wouldn't change who I was. I didn't want to be a monster but I had nothing left anymore.

But that was when I was human. After the change, I changed. I overheard the scientists saying that they had killed my family and vowed to find my baby girl. I knew then that I had to protect her at all costs and destroy anything that got in my way. Little did I know that I would find her, and also I would find my soul mate.

Well this is the first chapter ;) May I remind you that this is my first time writing a fan fiction so any advice would be massively appreciated :) There is more to come :)
