Chapter 17

Sophie's P.O.V.

I woke up in a wierd place. I forgot where I was for a second. I remember going home with Carlisle. The doctor who was looking after me. He said that he would look after until some people found somewhere else for me to go. But I didn't want to leave. Carlisle was the only person I could talk to. I nearly called him Daddy last night. He just looked like who I wanted my daddy to be. I said to them I wanted them to be my mommy and daddy. I hope they let me stay. 

They said that I was meeting some family friends today. I wasn't sure whether I wanted to. Some people just really scare me. Like my real mommy and daddy. Carlisle said that they wouldn't hurt me again. But that's what someone else said. And the people still let them take me home that night.

I walked downstairs and saw a lot of people in the living room. I went straight over to Mommy. 

"What's wrong baby girl?" She asked me.

"There are alot of people here, mommy." I said, quietly. I didn't want them to hear me. Just incase they got angry.

"They're not going to hurt you, Princess." She promised me. "They would have me to deal with if they did. They know I could kick their butts with my eyes closed." She said with a wink. I giggled at that.

"Just like when you beat Emmett when you were play fighting?" I asked. It was last night and Emmett was annoying Mommy. Mommy kickd his butt and I laughed for ages.

"Yes, just like that." She said.

I started wriggling and she put me down. I walked up to the first man and I looked up at him. He was really tall. Like a million times bigger than me. But he was staring at me. The everyone started talking again. I lifted my arms so he would pick me up.

"You're gonna be my bestest friend in the whole wide world!" I shouted. Everyone laughed at me.

"Well, Sammy boy. Welcome to the family." Emmett said.

"Thanks, Emmy bear." The man said back.

We all laughed at him then. I should try to remember that.

"What's your name?" I asked the man holding me. 

"My names's Sam. WHat's yours?" He asked,

"Sophie." I told him. WIth that he walked to the couch and sat down with me on his lap. I felt so warm. I just sat there and cuddled into his side. I had now made him my new teddy bear. hehe.

I was told this morning that my ew family were vampires. How cool was that?! They can go really fast. Emmy bear decided that it would be really funny and spin me round really fast. I was funny until the room wouldn't stop spinning. Edward and Mommy thought it was funny. It was then that they told me they could read my mind. So that was why they seemed to chuckle every now and again. 

'Eddie, come here!' I shouted in my head.

"What;s wrong, kiddo?" He asked. He seemed worried, and the Sam tensed.

"I just thought I would see if you could actually read my mind or whether you were just tricking me." I said, smiling really big at him.

He then got a creeoy smile on his face. Whenever he or Emmett got that smile it meanr that they were going to do something. Sam stll had his arms around me so I grabbed onto them really tight.

"What's wrong, Soph?" He asked,

"I don't know but when Edward or Emmy bear gets that grin on their face it is never good." I said.

"No one will get you. I promise you." He said. I was glad about that. He wouldn't let the big, nasty vampiress get me.

Edward fell to the floor laughing. I could see him rolling around.

"Dude, what were you thinking that got him laughing so much?" Jasper asked Sam.

"Nothing, I was thinking about what the pack had to do tonight." Sam replied.

"Ask....... Sophie........" Edward said in between laughs. Everyone turned to look at me.

"I was thinking that Sam wouldn't let the big, nasty vampire get me. Meaning Edward and Emmy bear." I told them.

"Will people stop calling me Emmy bear!" Emmy bear shouted.

"Well, you shouldn't have called me Sammy boy." Sam answered.

"Do I get to call you Sammy boy?" I asked. I could use this when there was something I wanted.

"You can call me whatever you like." He replied. Everyone saw the smile that was on my face.

"What?" Sam said.

"Nothing." Everyone replied at the same time.

I knew that the boys who came in with Sam were werewolves. I thought that was really cool. They can change into these massive dogs. I always wanted to dog. Now I have six of them!

Mommy and Edward laughed at this. I wasn't going to share it with anyone though. Although Eddie probably would.

"Now that you call me Eddie I am going to tell them." He said while sticking his tongue out.

"Who is the four year old here?" Mommy asked.

Eddie just glared at her.

"Sophie was thinking about when you told her about you being werewolves and that you can change into giant dogs. She was thinking that she always wanted a dog and that now she has siz of them." Eddie told them. 

All the boys were just sat there. They didn't know what to say. I could feel Sam laughing underneath me and then Jacob and Embry came up on either side of me and licked my face.

"Mommy, put the dogs out!" I shouted, then everyone was laughing really hard.
