When Love and Eternity Collide (A Carlisle Cullen and Twilight Fan Fiction)

Chapter 7

Sharna's P.O.V.

Today was the last day of training before we went up against the newborns. Carlisle would always try and find a way to keep me behind them but the fact that I could kick Jasper's ass in training was enough to convince him that I didn't need protection. I was more afraid that Elizabeth would get hurt.  I had just got her back. I didn't want to lose her again.

I knew that she was happy here. That's why I never came for her until now. When Esme phoned me and told me what was going down and when I had the vision, I knew I had to go there To be there for her. When she was begging me on the phone for me to come, she obviously didn't know that I would do anything to keep her safe. Even if it meant risking my own life in the process. The supernatural world knew of me, they knew that any attempt of trying to kill me was a wasted effort.

'Are you sure there isn't a way to keep her from getting hurt?' I heard Emmett ask Jasper.

'Em, Elizabeth can hold her own. She is worried about you being stupid and getting yourself killed. Royce probably knows that we will do anything to protect her. So he will try and use us as a weakness.I spoke to Eleazar and he managed to track down the army without being noticed. He told Carlisle of their abilities. They have none. It should be an easy win.' Jazz explained. He really did know what he was talking about,

After that I hada vision. It was of Jasper's past. I now understand why he didn't feel comfortable about tellin us what he had been through, He was betrayed and used. No one would want to talk about that kind of experience. It must have been horrible.

Just then, Edward walked into my room where I was laying on top of Carlisle. The look on Edward's face was hilarious.  I guess it's not everyday that a boy walks in to find his father's mate laid on top of him. Oops.

'I get that you two are happy you have found each other but could you at least wait until the rest of us have gone hunting before you do this?' He said, sounding a bit embarrassed.

'But that's only once every two weeks!' Carlisle exclaimed. He really did look like he had seen a ghost when he realised we could only have fun once every two weeks.

'Carlisle, think about it. They go hunting for days at a time. That should make up for the time we have to control ourselves when the kids are in the house.' I said with a wink. Carlisle's eyes went black with lust.

Edward cringed at Carlisle's thoughts while I just giggled. 'Edward, it's been a while since you kids have hunted. You have to be strong for the battle. Why don't you go now.' It sounded like a question but Edward knew it was more of a demand.

'Then I can go hunting for something else.' Carlisle thought.

Edward groaned at that. 'Guys, Carlisle's going hunting with Sharna!' he shouted.

'Oh god.' 

'Man, they're like rabbits!'

'Don't break any furniture!'

'I can feel that!'

'We are scarred for life now! Especially after what me and Alice have seen!'

I had to laugh at that, like they were any better. If possible, Carlisle's eyes got darker. We waited until we heard the door close and the fun started again.

After me and Carlisle were satisfied, we went downstairs and watched a film. we were just sat there with my head in his lap.

The rest came in not long after I had gotten into the film with scared looks on their faces. Me and Alice were pulled into a vision.

The newborns weren't coming tomorrow. They were nearly at the clearing now

'Guys, we have a problem.' Me and Alice said in unison.

Sorry I didn't update when I said. I had alot of things going on that I needed to think through. 

Do we want the Volturi to make an appearance? Or do we wait for another time?
