Chapter 15

Sharna's P.O.V

Well I couldn't wait to get home after Psychology. I hate school. I hadn't been in a while and I am sure that things may have changed in the Education system but it was still boring. I can't believe I am stuck looking like a 17 year old for eternity. This definately sucks. 

Me and Edward were driving home. I still couldn't believe that the humans fell for our charade. How easily swayed they were. We weren't as open about our 'relationship' as the others were. So they seemed to think that we were just shy about the whole PDA thing. This meant that they would leave us alone. That thought alone sent me into a happy moment.

All I could think about was getting home to my Carlisle.

'Can't you drive just a little bit faster? You're taking your time here.' I thought to Edward.

'Sorry, but there are speed limits which have to be obided.' He thought back.

'You have got to be joking, you can read minds, you fool, You will be able to hear the police before they even see us.' I thought back. 

I noticed that this seemed to work as he sped up and we were going more than twice the limit.

'That's more like it. This way we will get home to Carlisle and Esme in two minutes.' I said, with that thought he sped up even more. Overtaking the others.

When we got home, I ran in the house, at human speed and ran into Carlisle's arms.

"Is she here?" I asked. I was excited to see little Sophie.

"Ok, what's going on." Edward and Jasper asked in unsion. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"You know me and Alice were hiding our thoughts when Carlisle rang me?" I asked.

I saw them all nod. "Well, that's because we have a human child staying with us. Her parents were abusing her. They have been arrested and she has no where else to go. She has no other family left. We agreed that she could stay here until social services found somewhere else for her to go." I explained. Elizabeth and Esme's eyes lit up at this.

Carlisle was replaying the afternoon in his head for Edward. He didn't look happy but when he saw how Carlisle viewed her he softened up. 

"Looks like we may have a new sibling guys." He said. I could tell that he wanted the others to think that he didn't like the idea, but me and Jasper knew better. I could hear his thoughts and Jasper could feel what he was feeling. He was excited.

"So, where is she?" I asked Carlisle. I couldn't wait to meet her. I felt like a teenage girl at a Justin Bieber concert. 

"Justin Bieber? Really Sharna?" Edward asked.

"What he's good. And not to mention quite cute. But not hotter than Michael Buble. OOohh he looks good in a suit." I replied. 

Everyone just chuckled at me.

"She's upstairs getting showered. She is going to shout when she is finished. She didn't want to sleep until she had met everyone. I told her about you though." He said. 

"What did you tell her about me?" I asked, unsure of how much he told her.

 "Just how much you meant to me and that we weren't like every other couple around in this town." He replied. I relaxed at this. I didn't really want to explain to her about how any of us came to be.

"Sharna, we will have to sometime. She is going to notice that none of us are getting any older." Edward replied, speaking out loud.

"So we're keeping her? I am going to get a little sister?" Elizabeth asked. I could hear the hope in her voice.
