After I reached the sign, I searched for Elizabeth's future again. She was in a dark room, chained to a wall. If my heart was still beating, it would have skipped a beat. What were they doing to my baby? They were supposed to be looking after her. Not treating her like nothing. She was special and deserved o be treated as such.

I couldn't find any signs of her knowing where she was. I had head her voice in a previous vision. So I started to listen to the minds of the people in the town. People's minds sounded similar to their own voices. I wouldd hear my angel's voice a mile away.

'Why are they doing this? I haven't done anything wrong. I wish they didn't send me here. I would rather be dead than here.' I felt my dead, unbeating heart shatter. They were hurting my daughter.

I waited until I could hear the even breathes of her 'guardians' and that's when I got her out of her hell. She deserved so much more than this.

I picked Elizabeth up after I broke the chains. She seemed to know that someone had picked her up because she shifted in my arms to get comfier. I looked into her mind to see what she was dreaming about. She had a picture in her hands. It was the one that the nurse had taken the day I gave birth to her. She was holding the picture close to her heart. 'I love you mommy, please come back for me. I know you gave me away to keep me safe, but I am much safer if I am with you. Or someone who will actually take care of me if you are gone forever.' were the words my sweet angel said. I had never felt so much emotion. She still loved me after I had abandoned her? She understood that it was too keep her safe? How could she know that? No one knew why I gave her up. So how did she?

All these thoughts ran through my mind while I was crossing the border of America. I knew of a couple who would love to take care of her and raise her as their own. The couple knew what I was, and they also understood that they would have to take care of Elizabeth when I found her.

Later on I arrived in Rochester. I found the Hale's household and explained everything. She was allowed to know that I saved her, but I couldn't stay because it was still unsafe for me to do so. She was allowed to know that I would still watch over her. The real reason was that I wanted her to have a normal, human life. She wouldn't be able to have that with me.

I have to move around a lot. Because I don't age. I stopped ageing when I completed the change into immortality. People would start to notice and ask questions. I couldn't have that. No one was supposed to know about the supernatural world. They would end up dead if they did. Some of the humans guessed right and I moved before they could have a chance to ask me. The Hales understood the risk that they were taking. They wouldn't tell anybody because it would endanger Elizabeth and the rest of her new family.

It was three years later that I got the call. Saying that my daughter was missing and a trail of blood was found where she was last seen by her fiance. How had I not seen this happening? She was my daughter! I should have seen this, should have protected her from this.

I felt as though my heart had shattered into a million pieces and the world had been swept from under my feet. I knew then that I had to find the fiend and make them pay for what they have done to my daughter.
