Chapter 22

This is the last chapter however, it is the fight in Sharna's P.O.V.

Sharna's P.O.V.

I knew that Sophie wasn't happy at being left home while we went to deal with Caleb.

What if he comes into the house while they're gone? How am I going to protect myself. I won't survive!

She thinks that we would leave her here by herself? Me and Edward already had a plan worked out. We would call Sam. Let him know that he needed to stay here to watch Sophie.

"Hello?" Sam answered his phone.

"Sam, it's Sharna. We need you to come and watch Sophie while we deal with something." I said. He knew by the tone of my voice that he shouldn't argue with me. 

"Give me five minutes." He answered and then he hung up.

Within five minutes he was walking through the door.

"What's going on?" He asked. You wouldn't be asking me to look after Sophie unless it was something serious.

"She ran into Caleb. Do you remember the nightmare she had then she was younger?" Carlisle asked. I knew I couldn't forget it. I could still see and hear her please for him to leave her alone in this dream. I refused to let it become reality.

"Yeah, in her dream, he was trying to kill her because she left him for someone else." He replied. Sophie looked to be shocked that he could remember that.

"Well, that might just happen. But if he can't get to her then he will pick another person to take victim instead. We know about this and we can't let it happen. We will have to kill him to protect both Sophie and any other defenseless girls out there. I realise that may break the treaty but right now we don't care. I will not let my daughter live with the risk of being murdered if she is left alone." Carlisle explained. I loved it when he started to take control. It was quite a turn on. I could imagine him taking control in the bedroom....

Sharna! Snap out of it. Why was I thinking about this when my daughter was in danger? 

"I assure you, it won't break the treaty." Sam said. "I would do the same if it were me. I want to kill him myself but Sophie needs me." He said too low for Sophie to hear.

Sophie froze. This has happened before. Me and Edward were sucked into her mind. She was seeing something different to what everyone else was seeing.

Caleb was outside. Watching everything. He knew what we were and what Sam was. He had to be killed now. The Volturi would kill us if they found out that humans knew about us.

We came back into the room and everyone was looking at Sophie. 

Me and Edward were in shock. So was Sophie.

"Sophie, what was that?" Carlisle asked.

"I don't know. It's like I can channel someone. Like, see what they are seeing and hear what they are thinking. But whenever I have done that I have been worrying about something that involves them. Last time it was when we realised Caleb's obsession with me. He is outside just behind the tree line. He knows everything about us. That you guys are vampires, that Sam and the boys are wolves. You have to kill him. He is going to expose you when he has a chance." She explained. If I could channel someone would it be possible for me to control them aswell?

"We will figure that out when we have made you safe" I said. 

I can figure out if Sam likes me how I like him! 

Me and Edward both looked at her knowingly. We knew what she was going to do. She would be surprised when she did it.

After that, the rest of us left, leaving Sam and Sophie in the house.
