CHAPTER 15
We moved down the stairs receiving hugs and kisses from a few of mum's friends and mine. A few people from school and most of mum's celebrity friends all congratulated me has I moved through the crowd to the VIP area and entered.
Moving further into the club a few people I knew greeted me with air kisses and hugs also wishing me happy birthday while some waved has I made my way to my table were my friends and family were gathered.
"Sarah happy birthday you ice bitch." A voice screamed and I turned back seeing a beautiful brunette dressed in a short red dress stopping a mid-thigh running towards me. I was not the least bit surprised has she enveloped me in a tight hug, squeezing the life out of me.
"Alicia, can't breathe." I choked out trying to loosen her hold before she released me and I gasped needing a lot of air.
"Oh! Sarah am so sorry." I was just so excited to see you. She said lowly her voice filled with concern.
Finally able to breath normal again I touched her arm smiling comfortingly "its okay Alicia, am fine." I reassured her and she relaxed a little after seeing me smile.
"How the hell did you get here, last I heard you were in Paris shooting a movie." I asked surprised.
Giggling "your mum invited me silly, and I have not been able to celebrate your birthday with you. So getting on the next flight I came here not wanting to miss another birthday, especially the big 18." She said squealed.
Laughing I hugged her once more "its so good to see you again after all this time. What has it been, 3 years?" I asked releasing her.
"Yeah, sorry I haven't been in touch lately. I have just been so busy with my career." She said looking at me with a guilty expression.
Alicia is one of the few celebrity friends I have and am truly friends with. She's a model and actress and we met after she acted in a movie along with mum playing her daughter making her career blow-up.
Mum had invited her over to spend the 2 month vacation she had after the movie with us when her parents had gone on a second honeymoon to Bora Bora. With nowhere to go mum suggested to her and her parents to spend it with us and because they had hit it off during the movie, she accepted and seeing their daughter's excitement her parent's allowed it.
At first I hated her gut's because she was all mum could talk about when she took time to come home or spend time with me but after her arrival hate soon turned to friendship has we had so much in common, plus I had no one to hang with because jess had gone on a family vacation to some secret location she refused to reveal.
But now that I think about they might just have gone to Slovenia.
"We so have to catch up girl. Come on!" I dragged her to our table where just my friends receded.
Seeing my arrival they all shouted happy birthdays raising their drinks in toast to me. Smiling I thanked them and pulled Alicia.
"Guys I would like you to meet..."
"Oh my gosh! Its Alicia ken." A short blonde about 5'2 screamed interrupting me. I was shoved aside has the girl hugged Alicia who looked a little freaked. I would have fallen if Davis hadn't caught me. Looking at Cassie has she continued squealing talking rapidly I just shook my head.
Cassie is Davis new girlfriend. Moving forward I ripped Cassie from Alicia and shoved her towards Davis who caught her.
"Are you okay?" I asked Alicia and she just nodded smiling.
