CHAPTER 24

I was in mid-panic that there was another attack or something happened to mum or maybe they finally have info on Nicholai and it's bad or...

"Are going to continue standing there, maybe you should sit down you look a little pale". Tierney said cutting my train of thought.

"We're watching walking dead do you want to join us." jess said this time and that's when I noticed the popcorn, soda, collection of dvds on the floor and the fact that all in pajamas. I breathe out the breathe I didn't know I was even holding and just walked upstairs ignoring jess offer.

Walking into my room I jump on my bed and pulled out my phone for any text or missed calls but there were none, slightly disappointed I showered changing into my pajamas and then grabbed my laptop turning on Netflix to watch unbreakable kimmy Schmidt season 2.

I seriously love this show, 1 hour later I was half way through episode 13 when my phone rang startling me.

Signing irritated at the interruption I picked the phone to see Nicholai was calling, rolling my eyes, I was a little pissed he choose this moment to call.

"Now you decide to call, how sweet of you." I said sarcastically.

Signing "am so sorry babe, but I was caught up with something important and couldn't get away till now." He said sounding really sorry but I was having none of it, am going back to being the ice queen because I don't like the desperate person am becoming when it comes to these guys.

"What was so important that you couldn't get away until now, babe." Though I already knew what is answer was going to be.

There was a minute of silence and I swear I heard a female voice but could barely decipher who it was before he said "am sorry but I can't say." He said quietly.

"Of course you can't, well now that you've called and apologized am going back to my previous engagement. Am really busy so don't bother me Nicholai." I said coldly and cut the call before he could respond. The phone rang a minute later and his number flashed before I switched off my phone going back to my movie.

The next morning after taking a shower I dressed in denim skinny jeans, white tan top, and black leather jacket. Combing my hair I let it fall in waves around my face and wore a blue Gorro invierno cat ear beanie with brown ankle boots and zero make-up. It wasnt my usual glamorous style but I wanted to just be comfortable today, these clothes are my secret pleasure for when I just want to be normal without having to keep up for appearance sake. I will definitely shock a lot of people with me dressed this way but right now I could care less, grabbing my phone I switched it on and packed my bags before walking out my room.

Rushing down stairs I heard voices and knew the rest were in the kitchen, has I entered they all stopped talking and where staring at me but only mar, bill and jess had gaping mouths except David his face was neutral but I could see the surprise in his eyes while the rest looked on confused.

I ignored them and walked to where mar was cooking and snapped my fingers in front of mar bring her out of shock and I nudged my head indicating the burning pancakes which made her squeal. While she was taking care of that with bill over her, I took the pancakes that were left and sat down to eat still ignoring the staring people.

Finished with my food I stood "are you going to stare all day we have to get to school you know." I said and they snapped into action gathering their stuff.

Rolling my eyes I walked out the door to my garage and entered my car, pulling out I saw the guys coming out and I lifted out my window "jess you, and the girls are with me, no question asked." I yelled and entered back into the car waiting for them and in less than a minute they all piled into the car and I speed out the drive way quickly.
