AUTHOR NOTE: I just want to thank all of you that have taken interest in my book, please continue to vote and I wouldn't mind seeing a few comments. I appreciate your taking time to read my first ever written novel. the pic is of Katrine, I would have left it has a mystery for people to imagine for themselves what she looks like but has a reader my self I would have been pissed if I couldn't put a face to the characters am reading.
ps. all comments are appreciated good or bad, it helps me notice where I need room for improvements.
CHAPTER 22
Waking up from a dreamless sleep I smiled but it evaporated quickly has I remembered the party am going to face downstairs. Groaning I got off the bed and went to the bathroom and took a bath, brushed my teeth before coming back out. going to my walk-in closet I picked out a white crop top, blue denim jeans and brown ankle boots.
If you haven't guess already I love crop tops, I have a lot of them stocked up just for me and I hardly have regular tops only a few mum forced me to buy for her social gathering she either has at home or drags me to because and I quote "crop tops arent the only clothe available for wearing and I really do not appreciate my daughter flaunting her stomach at my guest at all times."
Wearing my clothes I walked over to my desk and applied a small amount of lotion to prevent dry skin, combed my blonde hair out and pulled it into a high ponytail, then applied light makeup before leaving the room.
Cautiously I walked down the stairs listening for any noise from the kitchen, when I heard nothing I signed in relief and walked in moving to the counter and taking the plate of toast and eggs with bacon that must have been left for me and grabbed a fruit juice from the fridge. I really need to work out all this carbs am taking in.
Walking back to the living room I sat on the couch and turn on the tv to teen wolves enjoying the house to myself. I was so engrossed with the tv and my food that I barely noticed the presence of people behind me.
"Enjoying yourself are you?" a very deep pissed off voice said behind me and I stiffed mid-drink of my juice before swallowing with difficulty.
I signed and turned back to see David glaring at me, Tierney and Danica standing off to the corner near the stairs watching us cautiously, mar and bill were holding each other leaning against wall near Tierney and Danica with jess and Andrik (well they don't take long to make-up) I thought rolling my eyes internally.
They all had their swimsuits on so am guessing they were at the pool, mum was the only person missing from the intimidating gang.
I turned back to the tv "leave me alone David I do not have the strength for another argument."
I heard footsteps and was not surprised to see all of them surrounding me. David sat near me on the couch and Tierney sat next to him, Danica, mar, and bill were on our right on the long sofa while jess and Andrik took the love sit.
"Where's mum?" I faced mar and bill.
"she had to leave for a photoshoot but told us to let you know your grounded for a month and she wants you back to school by tomorrow seeing has you already skipped a week and two days." Mar said and I shrugged nodding.
"What are they still doing here?" I asked still looking at mar.
She signed "since they were sent here for reinforcement to protect you, your mum suggested they live here with us." I grimaced but blanked my face at the stern warning look mar sent me to behave. I crossed my arms huffing in a bad mood already but David had to open his mouth aggravating me more.
"Where the hell were you Sarah?" I kept quite ignoring him.
"Just tell us, we were going crazy with worry yesterday." Mar said and I relented.
