CHAPTER 16

I should have known better than to think they were over each other, just looking at them I felt so much pain, confusion, and betrayal. I know I shouldn't feel betrayed. its not like he's mine but I can't help the feeling.

Alicia noticed my gaze and turned before spotting jess and David, seeing my hurt expression she walked over to them before I could stop her and pulled jess from their make out slapping her right across the face.

Jess obviously shocked shouted something and Alicia yelled back, I couldn't hear what they were saying but Alicia must have said something to them because they all looked in my direction.

Feeling like am being closed up and not liking the guilt and pity written all over their faces, I shoved my way out of the crowd.

Hearing someone faintly shouting my name over the music I hurried in my escape only looking forward and not stopping. I saw a door at the corner of the club and thinking it was the bathroom rushed over and entered only to see a big empty dark alley.

Signing I knew I just walked out the back door.

It was a little chilly and I hugged my arms rubbing them, before stepping forward in the dark alley with only one street light illuminating the alley making it a little difficult to see. I shivered a little and the hair's on my arm stood on end.

feeling someone watching me I called out "Is someone there?"

I gasped squinting my eyes because I could swear I saw a pair of yellow eyes just now but wasn't sure if maybe it was my imagination. The back door banged open making me jump turning around only to see it was just jess, Alicia and David.

I released a relieved breath putting my hand to my chest "what the hell? You guys almost gave me a heart attack." I screamed.

"Sorry about that, it was my fault but I brought these two here so you guys can talk. And don't even think about leaving until you have settled everything." Alicia said before going back into the club closing the door.

There was an awkward silence between the 3 of us, no one wanting to talk just yet and we stayed that way for 5mins before I broke the silence.

"Well congrats, looks like your back together." I said faking a cheery voice looking between the two of them.

Jess had a guilty expression on her face and David had an unreadable expression before he blanked his face. I could have swoon he looked guilty but he blanked his face so fast I couldn't be sure.

"It's not what you think, we are not back together, I have a boyfriend." Jess said looking up at me.

"You don't have a boyfriend jess, I would know if you did." I said looking at her confused why she was lying.

"Am serious I do, he is in Slovenia." She mumbled and I struggled to understand what she was talking about.

"Did you know she was dating someone?" I asked David and he looked away confirming my question.

"The hell! So you were making out with him even when you have a boyfriend." I exclaimed loudly looking at them. "What is this some romance movie where you would tell me, you have always loved each other and can't fight the attraction between you anymore?" I said sarcastically.

David signed and was about to talk but then a growling noise vibrated through the alley and we all held still, no one moving. There was a sound of something shifting and then we heard flapping of wings, David and jess quickly stepped in my front shielding me.

I breathed shakily has a pair of yellow eyes flashed open from he shadows. We all looked up has some kind of creature flew up to the sky and was met by two more of the exact creature.
