CHAPTER 26

I groaned and she rolled her eyes "oh stop being a big baby, we have much more important things to discuss. Come on lets go." She stood up and pulled me along with her to the living room but when we opened the kitchen door, the girls fell through including mar.

It was pretty clear they were eavesdropping only David, bill, Andrik and Nicholai were at the back arms crossed and smirking at the girls situation.

"Hey Barbie," I raised one eyebrow glaring at her and the rest "I see you have a new really hot boyfriend, I approve."

At the back bill growled then glared at Nicholai who looked a bit sacred and uncomfortable while David was smirking clearly enjoying his fear to which I rolled my eyes at his childish behavior.

The girls stood up and we all moved to the living room taking our sits, mar cleared her throat "so who is the hot dude? How'd you meet? How long is this going to last this time-?" she kept rambling but I cut her off.

"Mar enough, his name is Nicholai, we met on the day we were fighting the gargoyles, the guys saw him, this is going to last however long it takes to last." I said the last part glaring at her but she shrugged me off.

I looked at Nicholai "well you've met these guys but this is Mariah and bill. Mar is my mum's close friend or relative I have no idea and bill is....." I paused looking at him skeptically and he glared at me "bill, no one special."

Nicholai chuckled greeting them "his name his Nicholai and he's the guy I have been hanging out with for a while." Mar rose one of her eyebrows at this while bill narrowed his eyes at him.

"You said you're from Slovenia, how come we've never seen you before yet you told Barbie you knew us." mar asked.

Nicholai shifted a little beside me and pulled me into his arms making me look up at him "I work for someone completely different in Slovenia who wants to see the princess safe, also I am mostly hidden in the shadows which explains why you don't know me. I can't disclose who I work for nor his reasons, when we get back home he would meet Sarah and explain all the mystery. I don't expect you to trust me fully but I would appreciate it especially when it comes to the princess safety."

Mar narrowed her eyes at him studying him then turned towards bill and they shared a look before nodding "fine, since you said you work in the shadows it explains why we can't find anything about you. You want us to trust you with Sarah but I can't promise you that but we trust her and her judgement so be careful. if you hurt her you're has good has dead. Her mum is arriving home today and would like to see you so you can stick around for dinner, just know though we are watching you if there are any mishap......" bill stopped leaving the rest unsaid and I stared at him surprised but he only smirked at Nicholai.

his eyes brightened a little but it didn't seem to faze Nicholai one bit, when I looked at him instead there seem to be a crazed looked in his eyes that was inviting the challenge though it was a brief making think I imagined it but seeing bills narrowed eyes and David's frown directed at him, I guessed they saw it too.

Pulling out of Nicholai's arms a little getting weird vibes coming from him I put a little distance between us, he seemed to notice and narrowed his eyes at me but didn't say anything.

"Well now that we have cleared all that, am going to prepare dinner while you guys hang around. No practice for today it has been rescheduled for tomorrow alright guys." Mar said and we nodded.

She stood up taking bill with her and left for the kitchen "well you might have gotten mar and bill to at least approve of him but I don't." jess said breaking the silence.
