After talking more with Zahara, I realized I had another war meeting to attend today.

I waved goodbye at Zahara and walked down to the dining hall. It was already filled with all the cocky British people. Except Jacob, and I see he saved me a seat.

I walk over to him and he smiles and pat the empty seat, and I sot down in it.

I was just about to open my mouth to talk to him when the King says "Greetings everyone, and welcome. We are here to talk more about the plans o the invasion. We have more details about it, and would like to inform everyone on it.

We are going to leave at dawn, in a time of 5 weeks, hopefully enough time for preparation, and attack in the dead of night. We will then circle with all of our ships around the island and set them port side to the island, then half the crew members on each ship with shoot their cannons onto the middle of the island, flushing the pirates out. We will then stop shooting and send in the other half of the crew members to fight and kill the pirates coming out onto the beach. Then we shall get back what is rightfully ours!" He yells, throwing his fist in the air. The whole table erupts in cheers and I just clap quietly.

The King chuckles and has a look of happiness on his face. He then motions everyone to quiet down and speaks again. "It will be about a weeks journey to travel to the island, so I want to make sure we had enough supplies for everyone. This meeting is adjourned, and everyone start getting busy!" He says, everyone getting up and scrambling over each other to try and organize everything.

The Kings plan was actually good. Luckily my parents have the element of surprise, and that will hopefully catch the King off guard.

I realized I was the only one left at the table, so I got up and pushed my chair in.

I needed to go and talk to Zahara but before I could leave Jacob stops me.

"Hello Annora. I have an offer for you. While we are many in soldiers, none of them are very skilled. I can't do it all by myself. I was wondering since you talk about how much of a great fighter you are, if you would train with me. I need the help." He asked, a small look of desperation in his blue eyes.

I can't train Jacob. What if I accidentally shoot my powers? And plus we're going in battle against him.

I realized Jacob was waiting for an answer so I let in and say yes. I decided I won't go full force, just enough to help him.

I say goodbye and run up to my room. I walk into the room and close the door behind me, seeing Zahara floating on the bed.

"Zahara, I don't know what to do. Jacob just asked me to train with him, and I've been trying to keep away from him but he just keeps drawing nearer and nearer towards me. I don't know if I can keep this up." I said, panic in my voice.

I've never freaked about anything before. I always keep my cool for the sake of my people of being a leader, but then my heart has never been a key part before.

"Annora, lets just breathe. Calm down. I'm glad you accepted the offer of training with Jacob." She said.

A look of surprise came upon my face. Since when does Zahara want me hanging around the British? "Why?" I ask.

"You need the training, and it's more then I can ever give you. You need to work hard and show him your stuff." She said.

She was right. While Zahara was an amazing trainer, I have never been able to physically train against her.

"Ok, I will train." I said reluctantly.

"Good." She said with a light chuckle. "Oh that reminds me. About your connection with Aiden, we need to strengthen it. You need to have strong links with your past lives to achieve all that you are going to be facing ahead."

I nodded. "So what do you want me to do?"

"We are going to take another little swim." She replied with a smile.

Night falls quickly in Britain, and Zahara and I go out to the beach. I strip off my boots and feel the sand between my toes. I look around to make sure no one is looking, so I run and dive straight in.
