The ship ride felt like forever, even though it only took a couple days to arrive at Britain. I was very nervous, and plus I didn't have Breccan at my side. I did have Zahara though.

Zahara ran me though my cover story again. I'm from a tiny remote island called Hilan, and I have a letter from our "King" saying that since we are never able to have contact from anyone because we're so far so he sent me to learn about about the issues going on to inform him about it. I would need to stay for two months.

I was scared. What if they saw right through it? Nervous energy thrummed through my body. I tried just to let the salty wind of sea flow through my long hair and relax, but I failed miserably. Zahara felt it and came up behind me.

"Annora, come with me. I have just the thing to calm you down." She said smiling and she floated up to deck, me right behind her.

"You need a good old practice session. All this energy isn't good to keep balled up. First of all, I want you to breath. Think about all of your spirits you're connected with."

"Zahara, I don't think I need prac-" I started but Zahara cut me off.

"Shh, just sit and breath." Zahara said, and I sighed but gave it.

I sat down. I reached out to all of the desperate souls stuck in between heaven and hell. I felt their sorrow, but I also felt their power. These spirits were fueling me, calming me. I breathed, in and out.

I stood up. "Thank you Zahara. For everything." I said. I couldn't have a better friend. And I finally felt ready.

After smooth sailing, we finally arrived at Great Britain. I was confident this would work, knowing how gullible the King was.

We docked and we walked off the ship. I probably looked like a baby animal just learned how to walk. This dress was way too big and the heels were killing my feet. I've never had to wear dresses before. Who needs this tight cupcake suffocating you when you were in battle? I always stuck to pants and boots. I hate dresses.

Once I finally got off the ship, I was greeted with many people. And also, the King. He wasn't really what I had expected. I was thinking of a tall man who was well built with kind eyes and that demanded respect. This man was, quite the opposite.

He was short, had dirty blonde hair, and looked almost scared of something.

"Welcome!" The king said, his voice slightly wavering. He realized it and cleared his throat. "What is your business here?"

"Hello kind King, my name is Annora. I come from a small island called Hilan far away. I have a letter stating why I am here." My voice was strong and steady, just like I have been practicing. I handed over the letter to the King.

The King took the letter, opening and reading it.

"Hm. What is your Kings name?" He asked. Oh jeez. I hadn't thought about that.

My brain wracked for a name. Oh I know!

"King Blake your majesty." I said with a smile.

"Hm. I think I have heard of that King before. I shall allow you to stay for 2 months. I'll have my servant show you to a room in my castle." He said gesturing to a dark skinned women in an apron.

"Come milady I'll show you to your room." I already liked this women. She has kind eyes but gave off a sense of demanding respect, and will not be accepted as a lowly person.

As we walked to my room, only one thought was in my mind.

I did it.
