I set an alarm to remind me so I can be the first person to tell Jason Happy birthday.
Immediately the alarm rings, I wake up and rub my tired eyes and grab my phone and start to text him

Me: Jason!! Happy birthday! You are finally legal uhhh how do you feel?! I wish you a very nice birthday and I hope you grow more matured. I'm glad I met you. Happy birthday Jason.

I smile looking at the message I sent to him. Now I wish I removed the love emoji before sending him the message.
I look around my room and find the gift I bought for him yesterday. It's perfectly wrapped with a white sheet and blue stars with wordings which says "Happy birthday". It consists of a sweater I saw which looked so cuteee and a necklace for men.
I know I'm not good at gifts picking but you don't have to make it that obvious.
I smile and fall asleep again.

I wake up, take my bath and start to dress-up .
I pick up a white mini gown with little heart shapes drawn on it and i go with a wedge and pack my hair in a ponytail. I check my phone and one message from Jason!
I don't know why. But i feel excited to read it
Jason😊: omg thank you so much barbie! Best..ever+!+ yeah finally legal .I'm GLAD I met u too Wait I never told you about my birthday. Who did ? Thank you barbie😙😙
He just blew me a kiss!! Wait two!!!+!! And he asked who told me about his birthday.
I know it's easy to just say kelvin told me but then I dont want to explain what happened cos I don't want to mention I said I don't like him. Ugh!
Me: it's nothing to worry about you are welcome. Btw nicole told me about it. See you in school. Bye
I lie about the nicole part and quickly jog down the stairs but not without taking Jason's gift with me and find mom taking coffee
"Hi momma" I simply say
"How are you doing Anna" she says giving me a weak smile
"I'm good. What's wrong mom?" I ask
"Oh it's nothing really. Just slightly tired" she says stil giving me a weak smile.
"Oh sorry mom. Why don't you go see the doctor" I say with concern written on my face
"Yeah I am going today. Don't worry about me. Run to school or else you will be late!" She commands
"Fine mom I will go but take care of your self." I say giving her a peck
