We arrive at a deserted area in the middle of the woods. No sound can be heard apart from crickets sounds
Everywhere is dark. I can hardly see anything.
"Um Jason, where are we?" I ask a little bit scared
"Shhh just follow me" he says
"How do u expect me to follow you when I can't see anything!" I shout a little bit frustrated
"I'm sorry Ma'am. Here take my hand" he says moving his hand towards mine
I put my hand in his and start to follow him.
Okay I've to admit; I'm a little bit scared
"Okay we are here" Jason says setting down what he was carrying
And then he puts on a torch
"You mean you had the torch the whole time?!" I say looking at him surprisingly
"Yeah I did" he says looking nonchalantly
"And we had to walk all the way here in raw darkness?" I say still looking at him
"Yes baby" he says smiling
"Why Jason?" I say. I dont even know how to feel
"Cos I wanted to see how brave my babe is" he sas curbing my cheeks
And the anger in me floats away
"Stop" I say laughing
"Okay what are we doing here?" I ask
"A picnic" he simply states removing some contents from a basket he brought
He sets a picnic mat on the floor, starts to arrange food items on it. He sets a camera down on the mat
Then he comes over to where I'm standing and carries me and sits me down on the mat
I dont even care to complain
"So big baby, what will u like to take?" He asks
"What? Did you just call me big baby?" I ask laughing
"Yup I just did" he says laughing too
"Why?" I ask
"Cos you are big and you are my baby" he says
I just stare at him and shake my head smiling
"Okay I'll like......." before I can complete the statement, he completes it for me
"Apple pancakes" he says setting a plate beside me
"What! How did you know" I ask staring at him widely
"I had a little chit chat with my mother in law today" he says winking
Awwwwn. I like the fact he called my mom his mother in law but I'm not gonna tell him
"Oh I see" I say trying not to blush
He sets two pancakes on a plate and moves it my way
I cut one and begin to chew it
"OMG! who made these?" I say taking in another bite
"I did." He says looking at me
"Quit lying" I say
"I swear." He says seriously
"Wow it's so goooood" I say making sure to drag the good
"Thanks baby" he says blushing
