I wake up not to the sound of an alarm but to the sound of my phone buzzing repeatedly around 10 am in the morning
Mehn! I slept for a long time
I pick up my phone and read nicole's message
Nicole: Anna! Where are you? Dont tell me you are hiding! Or were you abducted?! Just text me back already pleaseeeeeee I can't find you anywhere. I've looked every where even the males bathroom. Oh Anna where u at????
Okay Nicole is so dramatic
Me: Oh please. Stop acting like you will die cos you haven't seen me for some hours. I didn't come to school. I'm at home with mom. I'll probably see you tomorrow. Try to focus
Then I see Jason's text
Jason😊: Hello! You aren't at school. What's wrong? Did you miss the bus? If you did I can come pick you up or did something worse than that happen? What's wrong?
Wow so people actually care about me.
Me: morning Jason. Don't bother I'm perfectly okay. I'm just at home with my mom. She's pretty sick. I'll see you tomorrow. Bye
I turn off my phone and quickly walk to my mom's room
I did not find her there so I decide to check out downstairs
She isn't here either then I start to shake slightly
What if she was attacked while sleeping?
What if zombies ate her whole?
Oh no!
Snap out of it Anna! I scold my self then I notice a sticky note on the fridge
It reads
Hi baby, morning
Don't worry about me. I'm at the doctor's to take the result. I came to your room but you were busy dreaming about Jason cos you mentioned his name in your sleep so I had to leave you alone. Teehee
Anyway have some cereal but i'l buy us take out on my way back.

I smile at her beautifully written note. But did I really mention Jason's name? Oh I'm sure she's just saying that!
I go to my room and fall on the bed that sinks down because of my heavy weight.
I feel like I'm forgetting something. But it's hard to remember what I'm forgetting
