That afternoon, he did not attend classes.

I have a hunch that he's in my apartment already since he has the key in the first place.

I hurried home.

The door is open. He is indeed here.

"Ri?"

He must be in the bedroom.

I caught him there but the speakers aren't on.

He is not playing a game. He's not sitting on my chair.

He is sitting near the bed.

It's like he's fixing and organizing his things. Is he going to go back to their house. Well if it is, then it's good.

"Nice. Miss mo na parents mo no?" (Nice, you missed your parents?), I teased him.

He didn't answer.

"Hoy. Napano ka?" (Hey, what happened to you?) I asked. "Eto na yung salamin mo." (Here're your glasses.) I added as I hand it over to him.

He grabbed it.

His hands were cold.

I can feel a bit of cold shiver. A sorrowful thing.

"Ano? Magsalita ka naman." (What? At least say something.) , I clamored.

"Tapos na sleepover." (I guess the sleepover is over.) He shortly answered with a plain face.

I ride with his jokes even though I know there's something to talk about and he's not telling me what that is.

"Oo. Para masolo ko na yung kama." (Oh yes, so that I can sleep on my bed myself.) I said.

He laughed a little.

"Tapos ka na agad?" (Already done?) I asked.

He nodded.

"Ok. Sige ingat ha. Pakumusta na lang ako kay Tita!" (Right, please be careful okay? Send my greetings to Auntie.)

"Sige sige." (Okay okay) He replied.

He then made his way out of the apartment.

But before doing so, he snatched my glasses again, and in just a sec, I have his glasses and he wears mine. That's fast.

But the thing here is, he never ran away this time. He's still at my door probably looking at my reaction.

I inhaled and then exhaled.

"Di tayo magkagrado, malabo nakikita ko diyan. Anak ni Flash." (We are not of the same optic grade. I see things blurry in there. You son of Flash.) I told him while removing my glasses to his and his glass to mine then putting them back to their own rightful places.

"Better.", I added.

He just smiled. And I already know what he means.

He made his way out.

And this time, he's gone for good.
