I woke up in the morning feeling I could conquer the world...Until I actually got out of my bed. My head started swimming, and my stomach was trying to climb out of my mouth. I would've fallen over, if it weren't for Cole at my side. His arms wrapped around me, his touch comforting, but not enough. I broke away and ran into my bathroom, feeling no shame as I stuffed my face into the toilet and heaved. Cole was still at my side. He held back my hair, and rubbed soothing circles on my back as my body let out the nerves. When I was finished, I stood and went to the sink. I washed out my mouth before I quickly brushed my teeth. When I was finished, Cole had his arms open, and I went into them willingly. He held on tight, and I held tighter. "It's going to be okay. You're gonna be great." His words settled in my head, and I couldn't help but smile as I held on tighter. "Now, let's get you ready." He pulled away, grinning at me before he held up his bracelet. I held up my own before he took my face in his hands, pulling me in for a kiss.
I clung to his shirt like he was my lifeline, like he was the only thing keeping me sane. Truthfully, he was. If it weren't for him, I would have ran ages ago. No matter how much I love my new life, it's difficult. When we pulled away, he rested his forehead on mine for a brief moment, before he took my hand, and we went downstairs to the kitchen.
No one else was awake, and I was fine with that. Cole started a put of coffee, and I made my way out to the garage. I climbed the stairs by the side, knocking on the door of the apartment. Dalton had been staying over more often than not, not that I minded. "Dalton? Are you awake?" I waited for a moment before I heard shuffling. He opened the door before he finished putting on his shirt, staring at me with sleepy eyes. "Rise and shine, blondie. Coffee's on, we gotta kick start." He nodded and followed me back to the house, where we found Clover and Kylie at the table with Cole. He handed me a cup of coffee, but all I could do was stare at it while we sat in silence. The nerves were getting to me again. Cole was right there, though. His hand on my knee, squeezing slightly to give me comfort.
We all jumped when my phone's alarm went off. It was time. We had to go for one final dress rehearsal. Well...I did, but the boys always came with me. Clover and Kylie were going to stay here, get everything set up so all we had to do was slide into our outfits, get our hair done, makeup, and run off. I hugged both of them before the boys and I climbed into my van. Yes, I bought a van. I still had a car, but there were so many of us, now, that we needed a vehicle to carry everyone.
As soon as we got there, I was rushed off to the stage. Katy Perry had just finished her soundcheck, and now it was my turn. Yes, I still got star struck when I saw all of these big names, but I was getting used to it, kind of. My band was already on the stage, and I instantly felt comfortable. We went over my song a couple of times until we felt that we were ready for tonight. We'd chosen my new single, which wasn't really new at all. We picked 'Survive', the song that I wrote for Cole what seemed like a life time ago.
When we got home, it was chaos. My band came with us to get ready, and us girls locked ourselves in my room, while the boys fought over every other room to get ready. I let everyone else get ready first, since it wouldn't take very long for me. Clover had a fancy green dress that reached her knees. It was a dark green silk, with silver chains as a belt. Kylie had a simple black dress, that had a few gold accesories. Molly had a dark purple dress with yellow accessories. Bella had a bright pink dress with a black belt and combat boots. Me, on the other hand, I went a little simple. I had a red and black checkered dress with a long sleeved black shirt under it, black leather leggings, and my studded combat boots. We were going to rock the TCA's.
As soon as I was done, Bella did my hair and make up. She added some curls and braids in random spots, and she curled my red and black extensions and stuck them in my hair. They really contrasted with the blonde, and I liked that. Oh. Did I forget to mention I bleached my hair again? Oops.
