" We're assigning science projects today." my science teacher, Mr.Smith, said smiling. " I will go around with this bucket with names of projects you can reach in , and pick out , so you can do the project with your partner.
The first person to pick out a name out of the bucket , was a girl names Ashley. " Mercury." Ashely read aloud.
" Would you care to do the honors?" Devon said smiling when the bucket was in front of my face.
" Um, sure." I said blushing. " Volcanoes." I read.
" That sounds fun." Devon said sarcastically.
When school was over, I was walking with Devon when Jackie ran up to me.
" Hey Holly, what kind of project did you get?" Jackie asked curiously.
" Volcanoes." I said laughing.
" Lucky, all I got was a stupid plant project." Jackie said rolling her eyes.
" Plants are fun." Devon said sarcastically while he laughed.
" Oh hey Devon, I didn't see you there." Jackie said winking at me and smiling like crazy.
" Hey Holly, do you want to walk home together? " Mike asked interrupting our conversation.
" Um, Mike? I'm going to Devon's place to work on our project." I said nervously.
" Devon's place?" Mike asked raising his eyebrows and his voice sounds confused.
Before i can answer, Devon grabbed my arm and dragged me into his car.
