Chapter 1: Serena

This is me and my friends first book posted here together. my friend writes for Serena while I write for Ava. i'm dgm1424. i have two other books here on Wattpad so feel free to check them out:) They're called Darkness Rises and Coming Home.  my friend if willow1994 while she currently has no books on hers i encourge her everyday to out them up. anyway, fedback is WANTED!!!!

Two Years Ago

          As Ava and I were walking home from a party, we both sensed disturbance in the air. Ava, whose sense of hearing is the best out of our pack, turned to me with wide eyes. My wolf jumped inside me trying to get out. As we moved closer to our pack house, my power of sight kicked in and I could see movement throughout our house.

          Ava and I ran as fast as we could to the pack house. When we entered the premises, we both knew what was going on. Their scent lingered in the air. Ava jumped forward and ran inside. Reluctantly, I ran after her.

          We quietly crept around the corner, but to be stopped by a strong hand. He shoved us into the nearby closet and shut the door behind him. I looked up to see the eyes of my father. Without speaking he sent a thought through our heads.

Whatever you do DON’T make a noise. The Dark Shadows have invaded our territory. They are wiping out any known Faded Shadow member.

          I could hear Ava crying behind me and I couldn’t help but let the tears stream down my face.

          Who’s all left? Ava thought.

          Emotion filled my father’s eyes for the first time in years. And from that action alone I knew the answer.

          What should we do? I asked my father

          You and Ava should get the hell out of here!  He thought.

          Are you coming with us? I asked.

          No I’m the alpha and I stay with the pack.

          Ava shouted, but there is no pack anymore!

          Enough! I want to save as much of the pack as I can. So you listen to me and leave. Now!

          He opened the door and blocked us from any possible attack. As I slipped out the door a wolf tackled me. I was startled for a moment, but my wolf took over. I bit at his neck and it yelped as it backed off. Before it could attack me again Ava’s wolf killed it.

          Come on Serena, we have to go.

          I refused to leave without my father.

          Ava thought back, you heard him before. You have to follow his orders or you’ll disappoint him.

          I took one last look at the house before we took off into the forest.

yes we now it's a short first chapter but they will get longer:)
