Josh and I were on our way to eat. Something about him makes me smile. He’s different than anyone I’d ever met. We were in the forest walking to McDonald’s because I was starving and didn’t give a crap what I ate. Josh kept smiling at me and I couldn’t help but smile back.

          His muscles were popping out of his gray shirt and his tan skin made him look like a god. I couldn’t stop looking at him. I felt my eyes turn purple, which means I was turned on right now. He looked at me and I thought Shit!! And I quickly turned my face. He laughed and I blushed.

          “Serena, are you ok?”

          “Yeah”, I said quickly.

          He just looked at me and I said, “I’ll race you to McDonald’s,” and I started running.

          If werewolves want to, they can run fast in human form. We ran all the way there. Josh wound up being the winner.

           Panting, he said, “I win.” He smiled his cocky smile.

          I said, “Oh shut up.”

           Then I walked up to him and pushed him over he fell to the ground laughing. He got up and walked up to me and was an inch away from my face. His eyes were sparkling with lust.

          He leaned right up against me and made me hold my breath. He lifted my head and kissed me right on the lips. I couldn’t help but feel like a thunderbolt struck my core. His lips felt right on mine as I bite his bottom lip to ask for entrance. He eagerly opened his mouth and my tongue slithered against his. I moaned in pleasure as he grabbed hold of my ass and lifted me up. My legs wrapped around his waist as I wanted to get closer to him.

          Just as things were heating up, my conscience took a hold of my mind. I pulled away and said, “I can’t.”

          He stopped kissing me and gave me a look.

          He said, “Sorry but didn’t you feel the connection between us?”

          I blushed and said, “Of course I did.”

          “Then are you sure Nash is your mate?”

          With that he turned away and ran into the forest. I ate and walked back outside when I realized I didn’t know how to get back.

                   I went into the forest and it felt like hours of looking to find my way back. All of a sudden, I heard a noise in the distance, but my body was too weak from the cold of the night to respond. Then two arms wrapped around me and a familiar scent hit me.

          “Nash”, I said as I turned around.

          He smiled and said, “I was so worried about you Serena.”

          I smiled and said, “Look I need to tell you something, Josh kissed me.”

          He said, “Did you pull away?”

          I couldn’t answer at first, which was a red flag to Nash.

          “As of now we’re finished!” And he pushed me to the forest floor.

          I watched as Nash disappeared in the distance. I couldn’t help the tears that sprang in my eyes. By this time the sky was darkening and I had no clue where I was. As I started walking my feet gave way under me. Before I knew it I was falling.

          As I slammed into the ground I realized I fell into a trap. I gather all the strength I could muster and scream, “HELP!”

          Seconds seemed like minutes and minutes seemed like hours as I lay there helpless. I faintly hear my name being called, but I’m too tired to answer. As I look up into the sky a figure comes into my vision.

          “Serena!” Josh’s voice rang in my ears.

          I was so exhausted I couldn’t answer.

          “Serena, I’m coming down to get you!” was all I heard before I blacked out.
