Chapter 19: Serena

I wake up with a huge headache. Moaning I go to reach up and notice I’m in chains. “Ahh.” I yell trying to pull it out of the wall. “That won’t do you any good.”  A familiar voice says. “Nash let me out of these chains now! I yell.  “Umm… no that wouldn’t be any fun.” He says walking up to me and holding my face in between his hands. “What a shame. You could’ve made a beautiful mate.” Then he crushes his lips against mine.”Hey baby can you please calm my monster down.”

       “You are a pig! Have you looked at my neck?” I asked

       He moves my hair off the side of my neck and slaps me across the face. “How can you do this to me you bitch?”

       “You used me and lied to my face, asshole!” I shouted.

       “I fell for you, what was I supposed to do? They threatened to kill you if I didn’t do what they said.”

       Staring at him in disbelief, I am lost for words.

       “I’m with Josh now.” I say quietly.

       “Something in your eyes tells me that’s not true, that a part of you still belongs to me.” He replied.

       “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I say quickly.

       He eyes me and says, “Remember that day in the shower where you almost gave yourself to me?”

       “You bastard!” I yell

           “Enough Nash!” I hear a voice yell from outside the room.

          “What do you want?” I ask.

          The man walks in as I realize he’s the alpha of the Dark Shadows. I gasp as I realize they are the ones that murdered or took my father.

          “What did you do with my father?” I yell.

          “I’ll tell you if you do what I say.” He says.

          “What do you want me to do”?      

          “We want you to keep tabs on what your new pack does.” He replies.

          “And why would I do that?” I ask sarcastically.

          “Because we have your father.” He replies

          I suck in a breath and in shock say, “Show me.”

          “Fine, Nash bring him in!” He yells.

          Nash opens the door and two pack members come in with my father each holding him from getting away. I see his hands in chains like mine.

          “Dad!” I yell

          “Serena, what have they done to you?” he asks.

          “Oh dad, I’m ok all this time I thought…” and I started to cry.

          “Take him away.” The alpha says.

          “No!” I yell desperately.

          He comes up to me and whispers, “So you see, you have to do what I say or else I’ll kill your father.”

          “I swear when I get out of these chains, I’ll kill you with my bare hands!” I scream between sobs.

          “Careful sweetheart, I have your daddy.” He says snapping at me.
